Hi Mrs HappyNow
It's great to see you back!
It's also great to see that Miss HappyNow is showing some signs of improvement and it seems very sensible to have put her degree on hold until September. Hopefully, it will have reduced her stress levels which will then aid her recovery.
Financially, you may have had a few setbacks but at least you are still in a much better position than you were a couple of years ago so that's something positive to focus on.
Take care.

I just thought I would post Happynow as I was a serial lurker on your thread a few months ago. I didn't actually join the board until January and only started posting a month ago when I had my LBM proper. Like you I wanted to tackle my debt privately without alerting friends or family to the fact and reading your experiences gave me the confidence to go for it and start my own diary. I'm very pleased to see you posting again and so glad to hear that your daughter is improving - it must have been such a worry for you and your family. I hope you don't mind if I pop in and see how you are getting along and thank you once again for the inspiration. Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

Lovely to see you back again, Happy Now; I've been hoping you were coping but realised things were probably a big tough. I'm so glad Miss Happy Now is able to cope so cheerfully with her health problems.
Reading your update it seems that although things are very challenging, you're on top of it and planning ahead. In the circumstances, I think you're doing amazingly well.Better is good enough.0 -

Thanks. It's been quite hard to keep sight of the positives over the last few months, but there's actually LOADS of good stuff too.

Yup, I actually think we HAVE turned the corner - or at least we're very near. Most definitely onwards and upwards from now onLBM Dec 2011. Aimed, but failed, to clear all unsecured debt by Feb 2019. Finally free of unsecured debt 21st May 21!

Cheers Honey Bear. Planning ahead is my major goal right now. I'm determined to cut right back on the worrying, it doesn't seem to help

Thanks for posting Seasidegal. I've already found your diary and bookmarked it to read later today. Looks like we might have a fair bit in common (although my debts trump yours mightily) and we can hopefully cheer each other on while no-one in real life knows what we're up to!
