Tomorrow is another day - Scarlett's Debt Free Diary

Yes good thanks. I havent been able to pay quite as much as I wanted off the debts this month but it will still be a good total. I've still been keeping track of my total spending and am constantly amazed at how easily money can leak out of my purse (I dont know why I'm surprised, its why I'm here :rotfl:).
Fortunately I have spreadsheets now that I can pore over and roughly work out DFDs etc so that is keeping me on track for the upper spending limit at the very least. In the past I would have just said sod it and carried on splashing the cash.
Hopefully will pay about £600 off the debts this month. I was hoping I could do another £200 on top but that wont happen
As God is my witness, as God is my witness they're not going to lick me. I'm going to live through this and when it's all over, I'll never be hungry again0 -
In other good news I managed to get the utilities sorted. No bonanza windfall but my electric bill will go down from £50 a month to £20. BG have also sent me an electricity monitor so I've been around the house switching off sockets etc. Think that will save me quite a bit too as I can see the cost racking up on an hourly basis!
Even sat down and figured out how the gas bill works. That is currently costing me £3 a day to heat the house which seems a lot, mainly as I like to be toasty warm though. Will keep an eye on that and see if I can do anything to reduce it but I'm not expecting much in these temperatures! As God is my witness, as God is my witness they're not going to lick me. Good thanks, sorry have been more than a little rubbish at diary keeping this month. Have messed up a bit and am going to get bank charges again but nothing like as bad as before. Payday soon so a new month and a new start!
Hope you are all well? xAs God is my witness, as God is my witness they're not going to lick me. I'm going to live through this and when it's all over, I'll never be hungry again0 -
Still here and chipping away. Hopefully will have paid off half the debt when I get paid this month and should hopefully be completely debt free by the end of the year if not a little sooner. By the end of July I should have cleared all the loans and be hammering the credit card and overdrafts.
Hope you are all doing wellAs God is my witness, as God is my witness they're not going to lick me. I'm going to live through this and when it's all over, I'll never be hungry again0 -
