You do now what is happening internationally with silver manipulation, shortages and paper silver?;)
You do realise lots more people own silver on paper than actually exists and big banks are in danger of going belly up over this?:exclamatiScams - Shared Equity, Shared Ownership, Newbuy, Firstbuy and Help to Buy.

I know what's happening according to mentalist US websites and youtube videos thanks to our friends on this site, but I don't know what's actually happening. Do you have any links to what's actually happening other than mentalist US website and youtube videos? Genuine question as I am quite interested.0 -
Aussie Specials:
Unemployment: up a little (6%?)
Base rate: down to 4%
Median house price: down 5-10% depending on which city you are talking about.
Scott and Charlene to split up
Aussie men to still drink quite a lot of beer
Blokes continue to be called Bruce
Women continue to be called Shelia
Weird animals that you don't find anywhere else0 -

http://h2g2.com/dna/h2g2/A12295The second confusing thing about Australia are the animals. They can be divided into three categories. Poisonous, Odd, and Sheep. It is true that of the 10 most poisonous arachnids on the planet, Australia has 9 of them. Actually, it would be more accurate to say that of the 9 most poisonous arachnids, Australia has all of them. Though, there are curiously few snakes, possibly because the spiders have killed them all. Even the spiders won't go near the sea.0 -
it is interesting to note here that the europeans always consider themselves vastly superior to any other race they encounter since they can lie, cheat, steal, and litigate (marks of a civilized culture, they say) whereas all the aboriginals can do is happily survive being left in the middle of a vast red-hot desert, equipped with a stick.

^^ lolFTSE: volatile
10 year Gilts: 3% (1% or less if the Euro collapses)
Euro: no idea. Probably survive.
Aussie Specials:
Unemployment: up a little (6%?)
Base rate: down to 4%
Median house price: down 5-10% depending on which city you are talking about.
I expect gilt rates to rise if EURO collapses. As it could finally break the fallacy of bonds as the safest asset of all when they are quite possibly the opposite
Volatility is a bull market
Euro I think survives and makes everyone poorer for it
Aussies to see inflation as they are linked to Chinese inflation and increasing worth more then USA problems ? So no low rates then hopefully0 -
You do now what is happening internationally with silver
Yes.
It's crashing and will continue to crash.
And idiots who believe in this...... $500 Silverare in danger of going belly up

Purely guesses based on my prejudices and fears.
House Prices: For my region prices will drop a little ...London will stand firm ..It always surprises me how many people believe in London ..Maybe it shouldn't any more
Rent prices: Again for my region I can't see rents rising ..but the lack of mortgages mean there will be plenty willing to pay today's prices
Economy: I feel pessimistic for the economy ...It would not take a black swan to inflict a major downturn ...Just about anything that is on the horizon could cause the kind of damage that printing money would only make worse ...And we only seem to have printing money as an option ..
Today Iran threatening to close the straits -This is a perfect example ,Oil prices rise and well things go bad...No double dip though .
Base rates: I overpay like they will go up tomorrow. I'm starting to think it may be longer at low levels than I expected. No more than 1.5%
Inflation: we have some fuel tax rises on the horizon and I won't be surprised if our Christmas shopping frenzy was only buying imported stuff so not thinking it will fall bellow 4% all year maybe higher
QE: They will find a way push more money into the system ...So no if you want to be pedantic and define QE as only QE ...Yes if you are a rational person who sees the government printing money, swapping it for something and then saying it is a swap and not QE
Unemployment: I am not so concerned with the bottom line figure ... I am concerned with the trade from Good well earning real jobs for part time government funded part jobs ...Lots more of this
Eurozone: It will lose some of it's weaker states
Politics: The politics of the periphery will grow with more protests and especially smart coordinated actions .....The old school hate this modern technology that shows them up for what they are..But the Tories have no competition.
Gold and Silver:Gold and silver to be up on the year ...I think Gold is going to keep showing what is happening to currency ..That it is being watered down0 -

Try a google for Dom Frizbee, he knows what he's talking about
I was thinking more along the lines of something from the FT, or The Economist or The Telegraph. At a push I would accept a Coleen Rooney column from OK! Magazine if she's used three peer-reviewed source materials.
Having said this, I've heard that Dom Frisbee is quite keen on gold and silver.0
