Probably I do need nagging!
The firing ranges here are used all the time, as there are three training establishments in a small area (RMAS, Deepcut and Pirbright) plus the Aldershot Garrison nearby, so its fairly rare not to hear shooting somewhere around here most days. Its a pretty quiet road outside of the usual rush hour periods so shouldn't be an issue - certainly cant annoy me more than the trains and light aircraft from the local airfield here! It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

You should never say things like that: Have you done your CV yet?scubaangel wrote: »The firing ranges here are used all the time, as there are three training establishments in a small area (RMAS, Deepcut and Pirbright) plus the Aldershot Garrison nearby, so its fairly rare not to hear shooting somewhere around here most days.
I've lived places like that before. Like Manchester...scubaangel wrote: »Its a pretty quiet road outside of the usual rush hour periods so shouldn't be an issue - certainly cant annoy me more than the trains and light aircraft from the local airfield here!
Perhaps you need to turn into a train/plane spotter?

Not yet, but then this is the first time I've been home since I last posted! And I have some mystery shops to write up and a whole load of rubbish to bag up and put out ready for tomorrow morning.
I did plan to come home last night but my colleague went home with my handbag still in her car, so I had to stay over with the bloke again - he was not impressed when I climbed in to bed and stuck my freezing cold hands and feet against him.....I think he's almost forgiven me :rotfl:
He has also apparently told his parents about me, their response was thank god this ones northern, and a grown up  (his ex being southern and from the sounds of things quite immature when they got married). So things are going quite well there. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Tonights decluttering progress is two boxes of books packed and labelled ready for the new house and the cheap pine bookcase they were on photographed and listed on the fb page - already had interest, fingers crossed it'll sell and leave me a little bit more space, along with the two tall ugly cd racks.
Also completed 9 or 10 short surveys pushing me closer to pay out on several sites.
And this afternoon while returning a M.S purchase used gift vouchers to buy a hairdryer to keep in the blokes room - last time I was there he decided I needed a shower...15 minutes before I was due at work, I do not enjoy walking the 10 mins from his place to my work place at 7am with wet hair! It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

You never seem to mention these cd racks without the word "ugly" being in attendance. Can we gather from this you don't like the look of them..? :rotfl:scubaangel wrote: »And this afternoon while returning a M.S purchase used gift vouchers to buy a hairdryer to keep in the blokes room - last time I was there he decided I needed a shower...15 minutes before I was due at work, I do not enjoy walking the 10 mins from his place to my work place at 7am with wet hair!

It would be fair to say I'd actually prefer my ex to move back in and stand in the corner of the room than I would keep the cd racks....they were cheap and are functional but don't match anything else in the house with the massive reduction in storage required for DVD's I can use some of those racks for the CD's too and still get rid of at least one of them.
Have got some more little bits listed on ebay and have the two old printers on the fb pages. I want to try putting some stuff on the board at work but not sure what to start with!
My foot didn't need removing - more like my entire leg! It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

But less fun.
I've got 4 weeks not 4 years! But I might go with things I know our customers need on occasion like printers, and vaccuum cleaners...I'll stick the list of furniture I want rid of up as well, in the hope that someone new to the place will want some of it.
Have updated the DVD and books lists, and reprinted them to give to another of the girls at work, fingers crossed for a few more of them making their way out of the house and in to hers. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Well chop chop!
BTW, have you found a place to go to? Or did I just miss it?scubaangel wrote: »But I might go with things I know our customers need on occasion like printers, and vaccuum cleaners...I'll stick the list of furniture I want rid of up as well, in the hope that someone new to the place will want some of it.
Stick everything you want rid of up. What's the worst that can happen?scubaangel wrote: »Have updated the DVD and books lists, and reprinted them to give to another of the girls at work, fingers crossed for a few more of them making their way out of the house and in to hers.

Found a place, trying to sort the paper work at the moment, but having a 'mare getting hold of my Dad (as usual) to check he's still willing to be a guarantor for me. Once he's said he will and gets the paperwork done I have to hand over the rest of the money (roughly £1800) by the end of the month. Am thinking thank god for overtime and credit cards to tide me over until I get the deposit back from the house I'm in now.
I'd stick up a complete list but its a small board, hence trying to work out what the priority is. The other problem of course has been the amount of time I've been spending with the bloke, staying over with him is great as it saves me driving to and from work, and heating at home etc but isn't so great for the getting organised thing, and on the evenings we come here we end up on the sofa chatting and watching terrible TV not sorting boxes of stuff. I do need to start packing though, the books I did this evening are a start, need to sort the books on the shelf downstairs too, and then I can at least claim to have made a good start. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.
