Have just hit another redemption threshold, from memory the company used to send cheques pretty quickly but have requested it via paypal as thats an option now, fingers crossed it arrives quickly!

Have a couple of friends interested in some more of the assorted crap I've listed on the faceache selling site but there is of course yet more to photograph and list. Have shifted that stuff from behind the sofa in the living room in to the spare room and on to the bookcase at the top of the stairs (which is itself one of the things I want rid of). With any luck the stuff my friends are interested in will be what they need and those items will make their way out of the house in exchange for some beer tokens (although they'll be used towards the moving expenses).

Have managed to do and write up another mystery shop, sadly one which won't be paid until the end of next month but it saved me from needing to buy any food for dinner tonight (my emptying of the freezer is going well - I need to restock some things or the remainder will not make logical meals).

Finally my current LA have given the new ones a reference for me, so just waiting for my Dad's HR dept to confirm some details tomorrow and I can start to really worry about finding the money to pay for the deposit and first months rent :D

You haven't said much about this new place...

I'm sure I have a couple of weeks ago...but its a one bed first floor flat, about 5 miles from where I live now and about 4 miles from work - it overlooks a national speed limit road which is pretty quiet and another military training area (I know I mentioned that I'll still be able to hear them shooting).

As its smaller than the house I'm in need of getting rid of a fair bit of stuff which is my main focus at the moment, but as I have my parents coming down with a big hire van to move me and my step dad in his work van I plan to send anything that doesnt fit back up north to be stored in assorted garages until I need it again/decide to sell it on.

Theres no garden with it which am hoping won't bother me too much as it's pretty much in the country side rather than town centre like the previous flat.

Rent's a little over £150 a month cheaper than the house, and with it being a flat am hoping it'll be cheaper on gas and leccy overall, I know its a ct band lower than the house I'm in now but can't remember how much of a difference that'll make to my monthly bills but any saving is good.

You did - that was the "not much" bit. Layout?...Decor?...Avocado Bathroom Suite?

    Public footpaths nearby then?

That should be quite a bit of saving. Is it nearer work?

Its about 3 miles closer, but is likely to take the same length of time to drive as its the N.S.L road then a 40mph A road, which in itself is likely to save me money as the dual carriage way I drive on now makes it far too tempting to put the foot down to get home/to work quicker.

Layout is pretty basic, in the front door, bedroom on the left, two cupboards on the right - on deep one and one airing cupboard, the the bathroom door at the end of the hall, the living room is on the left and is rectangular with the kitchen forming an 'L' shape round the back of the bathroom. Decor is typical rental magnolia with a neutral carpet. The bathroom thankfully is not avocado, but I can't actually remember what colour it is.

There aren't too many footpaths with it being military training area but as long as the red flags arent up and I don't go jumping any fences I'll be able to pretty much roam as I please. Plus the other side of the road has the big local golf club so when the red flags are up I can go annoy the old folk hitting little balls. :D

Apparently the bloke is a little bit OCD about small change.....when we came home I had the contents of one of my change pots on the floor, he's sorted it all and is in the middle of bagging it up for me :D

I knew I'd find a change sorting fairy at some point!

Todays plan involves taking 2 sets of bagged coins to the branches of Santander in the town centre - double check that they still only take 5 bags at a time (incredibly frustrating if so), and then walking back in time for work.

Achieved both sets of bags in to the bank and got back to work in plenty of time, via a quick visit to poundland where I bought three vaccuum bags to pack some of my clothes in to, and recieved a voucher for £1 off a £10 spend, so am planning to pop in tomorrow to see if they have any more bags as I've got most of my summer stuff packed away but seem to still have loads of clothes, and bedding to sort out so am thinking go with the - pack it small and deal with it later option.

Still plodding around paying bags of money in to various banks whenever I get the chance, think I have enough now to cover what I need to pay to the lettings agent. My plan for tomorrow involved phoning virgin about getting my tv and broadband installed, which should be fairly simple as the current tenants use VM already.

Then I need to call the council and tell them I'm moving in to the new place and get my ct bill for the current place recalculated - the payment is due on the monday after I move so don't want to be getting snarky letters about late or missing payments.
