From cycling, same as the three small blisters at the base of my fingers, happily for me as a leftie all of these are on my right hand.

    Soft hands... :p

Crisp? It's gone from warm and dry to cold and raining here,

Here it's mild (11-13ish) and hammering it down at times.

In the morning I need to go back in to work to collect my car, am thinking I might walk, since running seems like hard work and taking the bike back seems somewhat counter productive, while getting the train means spending money.

It doesn't make sense that taking your bike back is counter-productive given (1) above. Even if you wheel it and stash it somewhere, it means your mate can look at it.

How are you? Any after effect from your accident? Not jumpy in traffic?

Noone ever said I had to think before typing/doing things did they.....

Soft hands would be yet more evidence that I sooo need to change jobs so I can get back in to diving, never had this problem back then, equally never felt much of the cold either (although no sense no feeling or an excess of bioprene were often quoted as reasons for that).

Mates not in work this week so theres no point taking the bike back just yet, and there's nowhere safe to stash it for that long given I can't find the key for the lock I have for it (think it's still in a drawer at my Dads house).

Walked in to work, missed the worst of the drizzle and by the time I reached work it was sunny and warm again.

Nope no after effects at all, not jumpy (at least no more than I was before the accident) at all. Still need to get out more often though I used to be completely comfortable riding it anywhere, would be nice to get back to that and I know the only way to do that is to use the it.

    Diving makes your hands hard?

More likely: more exercise = better circulation

Keys should either be on your keyring, or in the lock they're cut for. Anything else is just trouble waiting to happen.

Especially with your furry handcuffs... ;)

Indeed it will. And exercise = better circulation.

I find that climbing in and out of cold water, handling stuff with said cold wet hands means that the skin toughens up considerably. Diving is exersize, I just do different types at the moment. The extra bioprene definately helped, why else do whales have blubber?

All the keys for the bikes in Dad's garage were on one keyring at his house - he in a moment of what he thought was 'sense' tidied up and took them off the keyring, now he can't find some of them and I know I had the spare for the lock on my bike in my room but last time I was home forgot to look for it.

The keys for the handcuffs live in the drawer with the handcuffs, naturally. :p

Not on the buckle of your chrome heeled stilletoes?

    You're missing a trick there... ;)

I don't have shred videos either does that make me a whale?

Or in this case bad for him!

Hmm but the chrome heels only come out on very special occasions, the handcuffs are standard equipment.

In other actual moneysaving/making news both of the ebay listings I have ending tonight currently have bids and watchers, I have my fingers crossed that the winning bidders pay quickly so I can get the stuff posted ASAP as that'll be two more small items out of the house.

Currently contemplating lighting another set of tea lights in the holders I bought from Ms KnittyNora, and parking myself on the floor to sort the rest of these DVD's.

Of course not. You have a bicycle.

I can understand that. Shoes are expensive... ;)

More overtime done, am absolutely knackered as it was a long shift.

Pretty much sorted the list of DVD's for the girls at work but need to now work out how to make my wireless printer actually connect to my router.

Have also brought a couple of small boxes home from work to start packing the CD's I have copied to my gigajuke but still want to keep so I can get rid of the ugly CD rack(s) before I move.

Shush..its the same model printer 'we' had so should connect as its the same model router, and obviously exactly the same laptop, but I'm struggling with the set up, and don't want to be defeated.

But I'm sure it would go better if I hadn't consumed a bottle of wine and wasn't being distracted by posting photos of my halo round my ankles (pants on head will be done later if I can be bothered).
