OK given my head a wobble. I was at work when my friend was near the house so even if he had been in touch Id not have been able to meet up with him, and he knows I was working as I regularly complain to him about the unreasonably early start on a Saturday morning.
Happily this was realised over a glass or two of vodka with another friend who popped round (and drank tea) while they were waiting to be told their taxi services were needed to collect their boss and another friend from a night out (they chose not to attend the night out voluntarily apparently).
Had the email confirming the acceptance for the new credit card, should have that within a couple of weeks so I can start to make inroads in to the balance from at the very least the lower interest rate. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Glad the vodka-angel (who I firmly believe in) was able to settle your head on this issue. There's nothing worse than the bleaugh-angel sitting on your shoulder whispering unfriendly things in your ear.....0 -
Well of course shes real, who else would be telling me its a good idea to have a quick vodka to finish the bottle from the fridge at this time of day when I have an early shift at work....
Today was long and boring, so quiet! On the upside I've brought home a pack of crumpets for the freezer so thats breakfast food to save me from eating crisps too often as I've nothing else to hand. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

I'd need to actually get around to going shopping for something like that!
Actually I have got my shopping list written and have just been trawling amazon looking for some of the less essential items to see if they're cheaper there than from actually going to the shop. A couple of things were so I've ordered them using some of my amazon vouchers. The rest requires me to pay a visit to Mr T and Mr L's tomorrow on my way home from work, after my walk in to town centre to do a mystery shop.
It seems like I may have a date on Tuesday....scary concept, especially since I had planned to merely use and abuse this bloke until the end of the Olympics, still I can behave badly so he never wants to be seen with me in public again, and it does mean I get an evening at the cinema virtually for free (he reckons he's going to pay for everything, my stubborness won't let him get away with it despite the aforementioned plan to use and abuse the poor soul). It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Mystery shop done, just can't work up the enthusiasm to write it up. And I visited Mr T on my way home £40 later I have £20 of alcohol (a box of wine and 6 bottles of cider as it was cheaper to buy them loose than boxed), £12 of icecream and £8 of freezer food - assorted frozen potato things, and some veggie burgers, and chickeny things. I've still got loads of frozen veg to use as well as tinned so theres no point getting more of those just yet. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

So my day off has een spent doing absolutely nothing of any importance whatsoever, and it's been great.
Done the online stuff, hit the daily and as a result monthly target on Swagbucks, done a handful of surveys and am thinking about going to see if theres anything I can do on toluna but first am off to enter any interesting giveaways on goodreads. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Todays SB target has been met thanks to finishing a surprisingly short survey, anything I manage to add to it now is a happy bonus and since I'm still working on getting to the daily limit on the SBTVapp it ought to be a nice number without making any other effort onthe site.
I've also recieved in the post today the PIN for my new credit card, though the card itself isnt here yet, and a book I won on another forum to add to the pile of books to read next to my bed. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

The new credit card has arrived, and annoyingly reminded me that I forgot to pay my ct yesterday so have done that now, am hoping it's got to them before it triggers the 'naughty' letter telling me if I'm late again I have to pay it all at once! It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Credit card balance transfer requested, all being well it'll be showing up by Tuesday at which point I can start thinking about getting from the 60 months it currently thinks it'll take to pay off back down to the April 14 date I have planned. The reduction in interest rate will help alot though - having gone from a 15.9% to 5.9% rate. The dd is set up to pay the minimum each month for the time being but when I'm a little more with it I plan to see if I can find where I can set the amount to pay off each month to a larger fixed amount.
I've just been told that after work tomorrow I'm going out in a semi local town with a group of people who are in the area to work at the Olympics, I know a couple of them fairly well, the others I don't know at all and from what I've heard are a group of trouble makers when they're out drinking so am tempted to drop out at the last minute. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.
