cheap and nasty imitations do!
Drives me up the wall- you can hear them coming a mile off because they dont seem to have the ability to lift their feet completely off the ground, and end up dragging their feet along the ground......!
Sadly, 5 years on and my Uggs are now too big and almost always drag on the floor, the heel has almost entirely worn away on one foot! And they most definitely weren't a cheap imitation!0 -
Sorry just checked with her and it was fenwicks we got them at!
Again, Fenwicks are not an authorised retailer for UGGs so are you sure your daughter has actually bought genuine UGGs and not a different brand of sheepskin boot?“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0 -
There's such a mass of misconceptions about UGG and UGG-style boots.
UGG is a style AND a brand.
UGG brand is owned by Deckers of USA.
EMU and Love from Australia are 2 other Australian companies who sell sheepskin boots in the UGG style.
Celtic Sheepskin is another company based in the UK - they used to be called "The Original UGG Co".
Kiwi is a company based in New Zealand that sells sheepskin boots.
And then there's the companies that sell suede boots with shearling (sheepskin) lining e.g. Bearpaw.
EMU also do boots like this (called Bronte model).
Apparently they are more durable than the sheepskin boots.
And of course there are also the places that sell fakes.0 -

It sounds like the OP has already found a solution (I'm assuming this refers to the credit note):We went to the one in town today, and there was nothing that caught my eye, I ended up using it on the kids
Not a very happy one maybe as the OP now has no Christmas present from her OH.0 -
I can't justify buying "proper" Uggs (ie Ugg brand/Emu etc). At about £160, they're outside my "shoe" budget.
However, a pair of "fuggs" (fake uggs) from Asda/Brantano/wherever is about £10.
I know that Uggs would last longer than fuggs, but my view is that they're not going to last 16 times longer. I wore my fuggs pretty much every day last winter (and a bit during the summer too - damn circuation) and they've only just died (lasted 15 months). I doubt branded ones would last for 20 years...We may not have it all together, but together we have it all
