ad no idea. Anyway 24 pack of Branston Baked Beans delivered for £7.68 that's 32p tin :T
I got two of those for presents, they retail (with postage) at anywhere from just under £10 to about £18 and on Amazon they are £3.78 delivered (two gifts along with the many others so far this year all bought at far less than full price) for Birthdays & Christmas).
Yes Amazon do foods and cleaning products but watch out though as the bulk buys are not always better than the shops my local co-op are selling 4 packs of Branston Beans for £1.27 so that makes them £7.62 for 24, only a few pence savings but better in our pockets.
There is always the points for an Amazon shop on a cash back site, but you also get store points if you have a loyalty card, (then again you may have a code for Amazon (which is how I buy most of my presents) from survey sites).
Also watch on Amaozn as they do Subscribe & Save on some items that you may want to buy regularly and if you sign up you can save 10% on that item every time you have it delivered.
What Is Subscribe & Save?
When you order through Subscribe & Save, you'll automatically receive a new delivery of the item in the interval that you select, at a discount on our everyday price. Plus, all subscription orders ship free to United Kingdom and Ireland. (Standard shipping rates apply to other destinations.) We'll charge your chosen payment method for each order only when the item is dispatched, and you may cancel at any time.
To start a subscription for this product, choose a quantity and delivery schedule, then click "Subscribe Now". You'll be asked to provide a delivery address, credit card, and invoice address. Once the order has been placed, your first shipment will be processed and your subscription activated.
Do Subscribe & Save items qualify for Prime delivery?
Subscribe & Save items do not qualify for Prime delivery, but are dispatched for free with standard delivery.Everything has its beauty but not everyone sees it.0 -

then I went into M&S and bought a few bits in the food hall for us as a treat, and got my beloved King Edwards spuds.
I asked in Sainsbobs and was told we don't bother stocking them much as its cheaper to get 'vivaldi or other potatoes.Well I'm sorry but I find that strange to me the best potato although maybe a little dearer is a King Edward and I won't be co-erced into having what supermarkets tell me to buy.
I told the 'suit' in there as well and he probably thought I was a grumpy old woman, but who cares, he looked about 12 to me, and maybe I am, but I am also a customer without whom he wouldn't be able to walk around telling women old enough to be his Mum how to suck eggs
rant over back to sweet little old lady mode
I love it, you give them hell :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I started complaining in my local Mr M's last year. I got so fed up of going and finding that at least 6/7 of my items I could not get as they had ran out and I was expected to buy a more expensive alternative. I am now well know in thereBUT I said to the "suit" if I don't tell you what's wrong then how can you put it right, for every 1 of me there is 5 others who will shop elsewhere if it continues :T

Well I am super chuffed with my 'shopping trip' to the back of my cupboard of doom and the depths of my freezer!
In the cupboard was:
Approx 400g fusilli pasta
Almost 2kg risotto rice
1.5kg bread flour
6 sachets of dried yeast
500g bulgar wheat
1kg brown rice
4 packets of couscous (each serves 2 adults)
1.5kg white onions
3 tins of chopped tomatoes
1 can of tomato soup
4 cartons of UHT Lactofree milk
2 cartons of UHT oat milk
4 ltr bottled water (for the coffee machine that I don't use)
2ltr bottle each of lemonade, cola and cherry cola
2 weeks of cat food (dry and wet)
In the freezer was:
A medium sized chicken
2 X 400g pork shoulder joints (bought yesterday)
About 1kg of beef mince (some bought yesterday but I found some more portioned out at the bottom of the freezer!)
1 medium pizza
2 frozen pies
6 loaves of bread (4 bought yesterday)
12 bread buns
12 small chipolata sausages
carrots
Leftover Xmas gravy
Peas
Small amount of mixed veg
Very small amount of oven chips
500g haddock
Cauliflower
Broccoli
2 small burgers
2 vegggie sausages
3 potato waffles
Breadcrumbs
2 packs of puff pastry
Vegetarian hot dogs (which taste DISGUSTING...)
