Well I am super chuffed with my 'shopping trip' to the back of my cupboard of doom and the depths of my freezer!
    What a haul!
Now need to write a meal plan, but need to find out when my mother in law is coming to stay first.
PS - I am sure No one else cares what food I found today, but I was so chuffed I had to share.
I'll go away for a bit now :p

Oops I dare not list the contents of my cupboards and freezers
I have stuff everywhere including Toilet Rolls, Kitchen Rolls, Cereal and Bread flour in the spare bed room, a mountain of toiletries everywhere, wash tabs, fairy liquid, beans, tomatoes, lime juice and Pepsi in the garage (much to OH's dismay as he can never get oi tools due to groceries). The other day I sent him to find Mango chutney (well why buy one if they are on offer) not there so where could they be ??? Behind the little spice shelf unit on an unused blocked off window sill of course silly me can't leave an empty space any where :) now where was the fish sauce I know I have three large bottles .... oh yes tucked behind the stash of coffee pods.
Now this is just the stuff you can't see in the kitchen :D

Also just going through my stash of herbs  quick email to daughter do you need any of the following as I have loads!
Everything has its beauty but not everyone sees it.
  • Lemmings, 18 rolls for £3 at Mr T I believe...

quin twins...we should start an empty the freezer club and encourage each other...anyone else trying to do same
yep! I did a stocktake on my freezers just before New Year (I have a 50/50 built in fridge/freezer plus a standalone upright freezer), and reckon I've the main part of my main meals for almost a full year (live on my own) By the time I buy in odd bits when my chap comes over (did roast chicken on NY Day, but had to buy the bird as I don't have any full joints in) and also use tinned/dried items I reckon I'll probably keep going until at least Easter 2013 !!!

How old is your little one? Mine is out of nappies now and I have a small pack (plus some loose) that I was going to throw out. I could post them to you? Xx

ETA - just checked, I have given some anyway already, I have 19 4+ left and a pack of 20 size 6 pull ups (think my husband bought those as they would have fallen off our skinny 2 year old!)

  • First big shop of the year and spent £58.60. £14 of this was on mega-reduced chocolate gifts in W****se. Dead chuffed as never manage to time it right with the last reductions. Got a few boxes of very posh chocs reduced from £12 to 99p. Going into the birthday present stash box, as long as I can stop myself from eating them :o
