Just realised I was overcharged by £2 on my shopping today so have emailed, plus we never received our coop vouchers in november so my husband is contacting them about that (they won't speak to me!) I also have about £6 in Tesco vouchers and some food vouchers I got from emailing companies on their way too so hopefully next week will feel really good! I am not shopping for a week, I am determined, and a tad obsessed :cool:NSDs 7/20

Hi florenceem its just a personal challange to put at least £10 a week into a sealed pot to help for birthdays, xmas and hopefully some trips out with the kids.0 -
click on the orange balloon at the bottom of each post you want to reply to;
when you're read to reply just press the Quote buttonHi Pixie,
At the bottom of each post there is, going left to right, the thanks button, the quote button and then the 'double balloon' button. The double balloon is the multi quote button. You can only quote up to three posts at a time though - well it won't let me use more than that anyways! If you tick the balloon a little white tick will show, when you're ready to post click the quote button on one of those you wish to reply to and you'll be taken to the advanced post screen. Once in there you can edit or reduce the quoted post as you wish. Make sure your cursor is not inside anything like this
Wow look at me I'm so clever!!!!!!
Thanks for taking the time to help me :T

On my way through a mamoth catch up:D ... around 7 pages since last night!helen_jelly wrote: »Rising - thanks hun - you were the "oldie" I was thinking of hehe
Awwww, shucks
Rosieben also a huge thanks - the recipes are flowing thick & fast too!:DWow, it has taken me 3 days to finally catch up. I could have just skipped through to the end, but I do love reading how everyone is getting on.
Me too!:D I love hearing about the bargains people are finding ... and seeing how their budgets are doing!Doom_and_Gloom wrote: »We did a lot of bulk buys. We have enough toilet roll to get us to April (at least), enough vegan marg for 4 months put in freezer (I have 2 months in fridgeso 6 months in all), enough cereal for my partner for 6 months, crisps that will last my partner at least 3 months (4+ if lucky) etc. All in all a good shop.
Quick question .... where do you keep it all?
I've very limited cupboard space in this house which limits the amount of stocks I can build but would love to be able to get more when there's fantastic offers on!Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

, help please!
Sorry if someone's already replied but part way through the catch up!
Next to the "quote" button at the bottom of the post, there is another one that looks like ballons - you use this to multi-quote (up to 3 - although you can be sneaky & do more if you need to - do a new post, copy the text of the 3 multi quotes you've selected, hit your "back" key, untick them, tick 3 more and post reply - the 3 new ones will appear - and then paste the other 3 in - IYSWIM:o)LondonDreamer wrote: »I would love to see the banana bread recipe. Have you tried Lactofree? Tastes as nice as "real" milk and I haven't noticed any difference in cooking HTH:)Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

I actually have an annual budget, which I split into monthly amounts according to the days in the month. If I have anything left out of a months 'allowance' it stays in my annual pot - which means that if I underspend in the early part of the year I can stock up on bargains later in the year without having to rob other pots to do so.
That's what I'm hoping to achieve too!:D
If there's anything left at the end of the year .... I'll treat myself to something nice!;)Florenceem wrote: »I have been saving left over shopping money - started twelve weeks ago - got £130.29 so far in a pot.
Wow Florence - that's great :T .... and in such a short time!
Phew! made it to the end! Sorry about the couple of other posts, but if I didn't do them then, I'd never have remembered!:) NSD today which is good (and very unusual on a Weds as finish at lunchtime).
However, I really did need to get some bread for lunch tomorrow ... so maybe not such a great thing! Will hunt the cupboards shortly and see if I can find anything else that will do instead.Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

This might not work, but at least I'm trying and I don't seem to be able to reduce it by myself.
