Hello! Happy New Thread!
Thank you to everybody that maintains the thread and puts so much effort in:beer:
I've just stockchecked the fridge and cupboards for things that need using up and I think I'll get to the weekend without having to buy anything at all by living off leftovers!
Then my aim is to spend only £15 next week on fresh stuff - I have plenty of dog food, tons of toiletries thanks to a recent stock up and Father Christmas, enough laundry stuff and cleaning things and toilet paper, and the freezer and storecupboard are chock a block!:j0 -

My budget is for: £108.33 pcm :money:(£25 per week x 52 weeks / 12 calendar months)
This includes all animal food, litter, cleaning products, hair stuff etc. For all twelve of us (including feeding Ed our lodger every now and then. Zikes!
As I said on the December thread, December's budget went to hell in an handcart so hoping January is better! Good luck everyone!

For various reasons I fell by the wayside round about October I think. Please can I come back into the fold and be put down for £160 for January. I have plenty of food in, so although this is my budget I'm hoping to come in well under it. There is just me and the house elf (my 7 year old son) and two naughty cats.
Thanks0 -
Please put me down for £250
I've failed miserably the last few months by overspending and just giving up but I intend to stick to the budget this year.0 -
Afternoon folks!!
I've decided that even though I went a fair bit over in December, I'm going to stick with £200.00 for January.
The whole 'second purse' thing just for bargains didn't really work for me, so I'm going to adapt it slightly and keep my second purse for food, toiletries and household/cleaning stuff only and pay for everything in cash to keep me more 'aware' if that makes sense.
Anyways, good luck and a Happy New Year to you allJan 2012 GC: £98.05/£200.00
Dec 2011 GC: £285.14/£200.00
Estimated debt free date September 20180
