Went to m'sons this morning with a VERY small list, come away having spent £26.22, thats with my £3.10 Healthy Start voucher deducted:eek::eek:

How on earth do I keep letting that place have so much of my money:mad:

Ok so I got a few extra's and didn't stick to my list as they had offers on
    welsh cheddar cheese 350g £1.74 x2
    A/Bessie jam roly poly £1 x2
    garlic baguettes (3pack) £1
BMathews breaded Turkey Goujons (6 in a pack) £1
all things i buy anyway, except the the roly poly and goujons which i only buy when on offer!

Oh and a new tin opener, they only had a £2 one left, a big thing with plastic handles, only wanted a cheapie metal one:(

And they were also out of value nappies size 5, wish i'd discovered these sooner, could have saved myself a fortune!! So i got own brand baby mover which i used before trying value so should be fine!

'Saving you money everyday' my a*se:rotfl:

off now to catch up on posts before my first haircut in 4 months:eek:and i know i'm not going to like the price haha

    Take care all :D

forgot to add £1 on 2pts of milk that my friend picked up for me yest to tide us over untill today!
    1 adult, 3 children-Newborn and ages 4 & 6, 1 rabbit
budget of £250 is for food, toiletries, nappies, wipes, cleaning/washing products and pet supplies (litter, sawdust, food)
  • Back from Mr S, spent more than I was hoping but got an extra couple of things towards next weeks meal plan :)
Spent £17.08 in total :( I should be more pleased as not long ago I would have walked round just putting stuff in my trolley without a second thought, and wave bye bye to £100
Thursday and Friday should be NSD's but I'll need to stock up on fruit and veg over the weekend, I've started writing my list, so I don't get too tempted to get things 'just in case'
Strange the things that make me happy these days, we've been offered a freezer on freecycle :j this is going to do wonders for my batch cooking :j fingers crossed it works ok and even if it only lasts a couple of months it'll be better than nothing :) so DH off to pick it up after work tonight.

Well we did our grocery shopping at A*di and Home Bargains today - had to pop into M*rrisons for 3 items we couldn't find.

Anyhoo using My Supermarket I worked out how much it would have cost from Mr T , total came to £99.88!! We actually spent £74.10 so quite a saving.

Only downside was it took a while to do it and I hurt my blimmin back, but was an interesting thing to do. I was amazed by how reasonable fruit and veg were and the meat and cheese.

I've changed my signature to include this weeks grocery bill and will pop the difference in my virtual money pot for Christmas !!

Somewhat peeved last night after careful whoopsie buying to hear DS 'doesn't like' the school shoes I paid £50 for, and which he liked at the time, just before Christmas. Have said am not buying any more. Grrr!

well further spends of approx £85 to declare mostly small shops
and still need a few bits this wk as have just been getting bits as needed locally as not been well rather than doing a proper shop although that does include £8 in the chippie the other day as couldnt face cooking plus stocking up on wipes on offer & more nappies which while i didnt need yet mrt had pampers for £4.30 and i had 2x £2 off vouchers that needed using so £2.30 per pack :T

ny resolution must post as I spend
1 means I keep an acurate total and dont forget the small shops
2 stops me spending for the sake of it when i dont reallly need stuff

see already forgot about the £7 i spent in the co op today whoops oh and the £1.50 on reduced to 10p xmas sweets in mr s the kids had

Everyone is doing so well ! :T

Just got back from a small trip to Mr S in town and picked up a few extras (as you do!) - all bargains of course ;)

Originally went in for cooking oil, sage and some juice for the kids. However, must have been in the right place at the right time as they had their tuna on 'sale' at 1.75 for 4 tins, all line/pole caught and a brand name. We get through loads so a good buy :money:. Looked up a bit on the shelf and they had branded sardines in piri-piri sauce for 20p . Afraid I cleared all 27 off the shelf as DH eats these like they're going out of fashion :rotfl:. Used staff discount too so it was even cheaper :j.

Total spend today £17.14 - should have been nearly £63  :j :money:

I've done my mealplan for next week and made a shopping list accordingly, it's very small ! I'm tempted to pop down to Mr S and Mr Waits later on to see if they've any whoopsies, someone stop me !!! :rotfl:

I ended up in MrT when I took my library books back and spent £1.06 on bread and bananas, then decided to stop off at MrM to pick up a couple of gammon hocks. Also got a pack of chicken livers half price at 49p and 5 sachets of WW hot choc to stick in my locker at work, so another £4.97 there.
A grand total of £6.06, so if I dont go near a shop until Sunday (working) then I am on track for the month.
