Hello lovely grocery challengers! A toasty 9 degrees here, windows open and I might do a bit of early spring cleaning - starting with my kitchen cupboards and see whats lurking at the back.

Did another yellow sticker run last night as I needed some nappies and bits and bobs. Came back with two carrier bags of reduced groceries most of which will freeze or be eaten tonight. My freezer is now groaning with fullness so my plan of action, now that we are nearly half way through the month (will actually be on the 13th), is to run my stock down and see if I can meet my challenge.

So far I have spent £181 on food (£250 goal) which leaves me with £69 for 2 weeks and two days. Which doesn't sound much but I have enough main meals, enough nappies and toiletries, bread, sandwhich meat, juice, tins and cereals. So my £69 needs to just cover fresh produce; fruit, veg, milk, yoghurts, eggs and cheese. Which sounds do-able to me.
