Being an engineer my motto is slightly different... if it ain't broke, it doesn't have enough features yet.

Exactly! XP is running fine... why mess it up ?0 -
Will let you know soon enough, my copy of premium is on its way. To be honest the only reason why i am buying it is because i want to...nothing else. However it looks good and it will be a nice change.
I have nothing better to do!!!!

I have Vista Ultimate 64Bit installed since Friday and am still getting used to it, but it is no different from the transition from Windows NT 3.5x to NT4 it takes a little getting used to.
As for drivers, so far my Creative Labs Soundblaster XiFi Card won't work and no drivers available until end of March ish, awaiting patch for PowerDVD ver 7.0 which is due 09/02/07.
My old Scanner a Microtek 4900 won't work neither will my Logitech WebCam Pro 4000.
To be honest the S/W drivers are the least of the issues encountered it is more the software that will not run and needs upgrades, from Symantec Client Security, Download Accelerator Plus, and the other numerous utilities I use and I'm yet to load any games.
I've also gone to Office 2007 so there is that to get used to too.Cheers

That's a difficult motto to apply to technology, given how fast it changes. Often you need to change to keep up to date with things."Boonowa tweepi, ha, ha."0 -

Ah!- Workbench, great stuff. So simple .
I have just gone from 98 to XP, when I bought a new laptop. That was a big enough jump.
So I will be waiting a while.
Theres an upgrade advisor thingy you can download to see if your puter can take Vista.0
