Why? A small chicken with Riverford is £13.95 it's a 1.6kg chicken. You can buy a free range chicken for £7. It's half the price. Virtually everything i can see is double the price it should be.ALOT more as we dont pick the meat/fruit or veg in the boxes we spending like 50-60 week and spend fair bit as dont have anywhere that does large large bags
The internet based shops deliver anywhere in the UK. Minimum spend usually applies of about £40 or so so get the delivery for free. I do that every 4 months or so and just stock up.
Agreed with value meat. Cheap chickens are injected with water and really are cheap why pay for water.:footie:

Ok I need to say something, I have replied to several of your threads and I know for a fact so have others. Some of your replies really make me to reply something not in a nice way. Infact you cant really be serious about sorting your debt, You wont lower your food, haircuts, you start several threads which all recieve the same suggestions that you dont want to change. Why keep starting more threads when you get the same advise everytime?0 -
i guess its again choice and what people want .....yes i could get it cheaper but it tastes nicer and a few years ago it did live it hard as was on value meat and i didnt like it and now this one few things i enjoy0

But there is only 2 of you.....A large meat box of 6.8kg of meat should last you well over a month. I could even stretch it longer than that if needed. You only "need" a piece of meat the size of a pack of playing cards about 80 grams per person per day.:footie:
