    Debt-free and Proud!
Happy New Year everyone. Mine got off to a flying start with a win at the bingo. £120 profit there. I also had been a bit naughty and not being doing my surveys in December so was surprised to login to one and get a £10 reward.

    Cant complain!

Off to my brothers for lunch so have a good day whatever your doing xx

    Afternoon all

I got some sewing done, thank goodness, really glad I pushed myself to go up and do it. I have finished the cushion and emailed the lady so waiting with fingers crossed now that she buys it. I have also finished another Kindle case and added that to my Folksy shop and I have another two cut out ready to sew up tomorrow. I am really trying to push my shop this month, I have just ordered some new business cards from Vista and hopefully it will track on TCB so will get a fiver back on it. My ED said she would give some out to her friends at work when I get them. I wouldn't mind having a go at Facebook but not sure how you find the groups that sell each other things for your area.

There wasnt any more surveys in my inbox and I expect it will be quite slow over the bank holiday weekend. I also had some more money in my C account this morning, was about a fiver so pleased with that. Wonder if they will have a promotion this month or not.

    Hi Everyone,

Can I join in please? I am a long time lurker on the whole website but only started recently posting...!
Just had a fantastic christmas and would like christmas 2012 to be even better! I gave a few home made gifts this year and they were recieved very well and would love to continue, I have already written a list of who will get what etc for 2012, a few empty spaces but I am sure I will be able to fill them over the next 11 months! Of course, there are the people who I will not be able to 'make' anything for, so I need to try and balance out their purchases with some 'free' money.

Can I ask - does the lottery count? over the last two weeks I have had mini wins (but I am sure the national lottery forgot to add at least 2 extra 0's!!!! i wish!!) and I have already but this money into my xmas 12 account. (£33.50 - thats taking out the £4.50 it cost for the tickets) I am aiming for £200 by October 31st, anything extra will be a bouns - I have decided not to raise the bar too high as this will be my first proper 'saving' for Christmas challenge.

About me - I am married but no children yet. If fact no children in the family at all so Christmas presents are all 'adults' plus a couple of teens - 13 + 17. We normally buy for 15 people at christmas plus each other so I should manage this challenge ok. :-)

    Jo xx

I don't know Rufus - but I hope so. I've been checking every half an hour or so, but I suppose it will be Tuesday that they get changed now. :)

    Happy New Year Aspella x

Hi Mrs Bunny - of course, you are most welcome to join in honey. You sound really organised already so it should be a doddle. Any money you earn which is 'extra' counts - so lottery would, and Boots and Tesco points, and anything like that. You can do it. The first month might be a bit hard - but you'll soon get into the swing of things. :)

If you PM me your email address, I can send you the spreadsheet so you can keep track of money earned, and a list of who gets what present and how much it cost - to see if you are 'Money Neutral' at the end of the year. :)
