Please be careful about putting usernames for other sites on here. I think Elysia said yesterday, people got banned last year for forming clicking cartels. I would hate to see anyone lose their account.
If you want to add books or toys suggestions onto dy, do your 5 today, as that way, you can add another 5 tomorrow if you want to. The week on dy runs Monday to Sunday. I just added 5 myself. I went for some quite christmassy books, thinking it will look more relevant nearer christmas.0 -
I have a £2 pot, which currently has £14 in it. I have just sealed it up!:j
I also have two £5 M & S vouchers in my purse, from the Weekend Mail Rewards Club. They have gone in an envelope. The Mail is contnuing this all year. All you have to do is collect seven numbers from the Saturday and Sunday Mails, and then you can have a reward. Be interesting to see how much I have by the end of the year. :T
I already do Ebay selling and Quidco, so that needs to be added, and also I am keeping all my freebies (not food ones) for this years' hampers.
Roll on 2012!!:TI Believe in saving money!!!:T

Last few weeks have been really bad hubby lost job, then our car blew up and we have been told £600 to fix so best to scrap. Hubby got some mad idea about doing it himself hes knows nothing about cars so i am really trying to get him to understand that is not possible but hes not listening and driving me mad.
Now we are in the middle of a village no car and 12 miles to nearest town, I have 4 doctors appointments this week alone and there in glasgow so 60 mile trip round with 3 kids  have to go cause its a specialist appointment but just not sure how we are going to do it.
Also our old landlord is giving us grief telling us hes not giving us our bond back as the carpets are dirty , well we have been there nearlly 5 years and they were already 4 years old when we moved in so what does he expect.
Things can only get better ehif i dont smile i will cry lol xx
hi m23
could you afford to get the carpets cleaned? i know when my kids where little i have mine done regular. i just wondered whether it would work out better for you, because if the carpets where cleaned then landlord would have no excuse not to give the bond back to you then. once you had the bond back im sure that the expense of the covering the carpets would be paid and you would still have some money left from the bond.

No problems. Just don't want anyone being banned. I would be gutted personally as it is my biggest source of personal income.
I hope the sites start to get busier. I normally have no problems getting 50+ rates on dy. I have some that are down in the 30s, still just posting one per day.
I've decided my sealed pot can be to buy treat groceries in December. I put £3.50 I had in my purse in it. I will try hard not to touch it between now and then.
I also have a magazine subscription I pay for on my CC for my mum, which is £12 a month. She always pays me cash. I am going to put this in another tin for our holiday. Not sure when we will be going, but I already have £60 of sainsbugs vouchers put to one side for food for self catering when we go. This is so going to be my year.
I also claimed a £10 Mr T voucher from V op last night, so that will be with me some time this month, so a great start to the month.0 -
Well done Hilstep - that's a good start.
Regarding chow - all I can suggest is editing your first reviews to make them better. Annie I put a private message on Ciao about how to do the formatting so I might as well put it here. I'll be over to rate in a bit Joe - please don't mention your usernames - if you want to know someone's please pm and ask them that way.
For best results on Chow and DooU
1. Write as much detail about the product as you can (Annie your's were good for that)
2. Write as much personal opinion as you can. I think.... I feel..... This isn't good because...... I don't like the smell because...... They cost too much for what they are because.......
3. Leave a space or two between paragraphs. Not only does it make it easier to read, it looks nicer and is longer too.
4. Use formatting - Put a title on it. GHD Straigteners. But put two =='s either side. ==GHD straighteners== This makes it bold.
For subtitles, put three either side. ===Cost=== ===Where To Buy=== ===My Thoughts===
5. Put a paragraph at the bottom as My Thoughts or In Summary - this is your review condensed. It makes it longer, and some raters only read this bit so you have to try and put all your points across again.
Have fun - it get's quite addictive when you get into it. If you need any more help, please don't worry - just ask.I :heartpuls M.S.E.Mortgage Free 18/01/10 13 years and 8 months early on a 20 year mortgage!

Happy new year all, I am very confised, I have looked at my account on C and I too have gone up the thing is I have looked at januarys statement and it doesn't show any activity so I looked back at decembers, in december I got £2 in the premium fund and that shows on the statement however when I add up all the different things on the statement it comes to £112 but I only earnt £91 by my reckoning so that means that the extra money is on my statement somewhere which would mean it isn't premium fund - I am very confused!!
Another thing is I had either 8 or 9 reviews with Es but none had more than a couple on so max I shud get in PF is either £16 or £18 but £20.50 has been added to my account and someone else said they had 4 Es and got more than £8. Will be interesting to see what happens on the 15th!!To get to Disneyland Florida 20160 -
Emma - we haven't a clue what's going on yet. I've got E's on 16 reviews since the PF was paid on the 15th. With that reckoning I should get £32 odd, but I've got £21. *Shrugs shoulders*I :heartpuls M.S.E.

i have finally come up with an idea for my mum for her 60th. due to fact that i had a free douwe egberts coffee, i thought about a mug warmer and found a really easy pattern online. the other thing im going to do is make some potpourri bags out of some potpourri i forgot i had in the kitchen cupboard and odds material i have here, also got ribbon n sequince. so for next 20 days im on a mission to knit, sew and get creative. oh and i have to make her card as well. also promised my littlen that i would finish her red scarf before she went back to school so only got until wednesday to finish it and im only just over 1/4 way done.
best get on with it lol
