hi, happy new year to everyone. I have been reading this thread a lot just lately and feel really motivated to try and earn some extra cash/vouchers.

I'm already registered with some survey sites but I would like to join swagbucks, would someone kindly be able to refer me please ?
  • Morning all!

Have a good day everyone, we're off to the outlaws for roast dinner later.

Just popping on to wish everyone a happy new year and I hope that 2012 brings everyone happiness, harmony and peace.

Going to look at the challenges and hopefully can get moving with those. Not sure about the ebay one as my account was closed indefinitely 6 months ago with no explanation which I appealed and now can only list 10 items a month. I will list all 10 items this month and hope I can get near the challenge.

Still in my pj's so will have to get changed as need to actually go out and get my daughter some trainers for school as she has gone up a shoe size and hers do not fit!

  • Morning all, well that's new year off to a bad start, I am very ill this morning and can barely look at the computer screen as it's killing my eyes but have to do my coursework. I was about six weeks behind but I think I am now only two weeks behind not including all the forum questions I have to answer and an assignment I have to do all in four days (including today) give me strength!! I thought it was due end of January but turns out I was wrong :( my tutor hasn't replied to my request for an extension so I am now in panic mode.

Just a reminder for s&s today everyone, tissues and research groups.

Happy New Year everyone :D. I hope you all had lovely evenings.

I've only been up for an hour, DS got up 10 minutes ago and DH is still asleep! I think we'll be having a lazy day today, I could definitely use one of those.

I checked my Chow after reading the comments and mine has also got extra money on that I wasn't expecting - a nice start for the new year :)

    My resolutions -
    * lose my baby weight (and a bit extra!) but obviously can't start this just yet.
    * Keep up with the money making, particularly the review sites.
    * Spend more time on my card making.

Speaking of card making, I've been thinking about this over the last few days. Back when I had more free time, I used to do a lot of crafting and made lots of cards. People often commented that I should try to sell them but I never really felt confident enough. More recently, I just seem to have no time at all. Hopefully I'll be able to get back into it a bit while I'm on maternity leave, as I have boxes full of lovely crafting things that I desperately want to play with! I was thinking of making a stock of cards while I had time and then trying to sell them, just to family and friends I'm not brave enough for anything else. DH's mum went through a card making fad a few years ago and lots of the family bought cards from her, so I'm hoping they'll be interested again. I'll let you know how it goes :)

Awww Savvy - I hope you feel better soon, and don't put yourself under too much pressure. Don't rush it all in one go, you might feel a bit better in a couple of days. Is there any chance you could write it down on paper, and then type it up on the comp when you are able to? I haven't a clue about these things, but I hope you catch up soon. You're doing fabulously. Don't worry about it.

Too many posts to name you all individually like I usually do. So I'll try and remember who said what.

Cornish - You don't want any man - We hope you get a lovely caring one who will look after you. You too Mum2one. :)

Hollie - Oh you're getting old. ;) Scrabble on New Years Eve. Don't you worry about it, you enjoy you little one while (he/she) is young - you've plenty of years ahead of you for partying.

JulieJim - Happy New Year too

Jedi - It's not the rules it's £50 on ebay - £20 ebay and £30 reviews etc. Just try your best that's all anyone can ask. :) Even if you earn £1, it's £1 less you have to find at Christmas.

Purple Orchid - I'm not crafty with Materials etc - When It was my mum's 60th, I made her a scrapbook - like a posh photoalbum, with pics of us growing up.

Boat Girl - I haven't linked to my shop yet - I want to posh it up a bit first. It's really basic with no photo's or things yet, but I make Cross stitched baby birth samplers - they say 'Made to Treasure' and then the name and date. :)

Michelle - Mine jumped up too - I have £22 in Ciao, and I was expecting less than £1 (for the review I wrote at the last minute - thanks for the push hun). I seems more obvious to put the PF at the beginning of the month, don't you think? I hope it's that. :)

I think that's all I can remember so I'm sorry if I missed any one out.
