xmum2threex wrote: »Chow confuses me still too I never really used it untill this month for the toy promotion. They run promotions monthly where you get paid for actually writing the review. Other than that you get money per rate of your review its not alot but if you rate others they will rate you back and it will start to add up. Also if you reviw a product that is a first review Im sure it double pay per rate. Someone who knows chow better will come along soon to confirm or correct but I am sure thats how it works. xx0

I look by going to my homepage where i can see my reviews. Next to the box that lists your statistics balance how many comunity points you have etc there is a box for ciao announcments. the one on my page currently says merry christmas. If you click on that it will take you to a full page of announcements and the promotion will be listed there.xx0

Annie - you don't get any points on DoU or Chow by rating - but it's like you scratch my back and I'll scratch yours - so hopefully they will return the favour and rate yours back. Definitely on Chow, you won't earn anything if you don't rate, but DoU could earn by just adding reviews - but the rating boosts your points.
Try and write as much information as you can, but without waffling. Some people don't rate newbies (for fear of revenge rating). Try and rate as fairly as you can, and rate as many as you can (work your way down the new review lists) and then people will get to know your name and rate you back anyway. You get to know who to rate and who won't rate you back, but at the moment, rate as many as you can.
Tibawo - I've not been able to complete those surveys (car and beverage) and I've been on there months, don't worry about it. You can still get some surveys even though they aren't filled in.
For supersonic videos - click earn at the top, and when it drops down click special offers. You can also do things on the Payment wall there too.

Has anyone reviewed a range of products which are very similar but just slightly different? I have just reviewed an ink cartridge on chow as it was on their wanted list and then found that there are no reviews on doou, I copied it over. There are 5 other colours in the range (I have used them all for years) and they are all similar in everything except the colour, will it be ok to cut and paste the original review and just tweak it where necessary? or does it have to be totally different? not much else you can say about the same product but different colour really0

:DHi I think i'm up for the january challenge (now worrying about it!!!
)
1) I'm going through the list of survey sites,
2) I've already got a seperate account, plus we usually save money with a savings club with my hubby's work.
3) ebay is my worry, I have LOADS of stuff to get rid of, mainly kids clothes and toys plus all my baby stuff (but i don't think i can get rid of that yet, although i'm not having any moreneed to build up to it!)
But i never seem to get it right
4) I'm going to get one of those tins which i need a tin opener for cos otherwise i might be tempted:rotfl:
NickyBo - I'm another one who had a crappy induction, tearing, epidural and crap labour first time round. With my second i was induced again and i had a completely different labour, no tearing, no epidural, able to take myself for a shower (midwife came and checked on me cos i was soo long but it was so nice to feel clean and do it myself!!!)
My friend was exactly the same, crappy crappy first induction, really quick second labour, her hubby made it as baby was crowning!!
Good luck, although i'm only new, looking forward to hearing details:D:j
Oooh just remembered! Does anyone want to refer me to Chow and DoU please.
Happy New year everyone:j:j :beer:0 -
Just listed x2 gameboys and x3 gameboy games on Amazon. Still undecided whether Amazon is better/worse than ebay for selling bits quickly, what do you guys think?Great opportunities to help others seldom come, but small ones surround us every day. -- Sally Koch0

Annie - used to find with my son's games they often went within minutes on Amazon - even had to bother with ebay for them.0

Up and running on chow, dooU and t!l?n* now so I think that's enough to get my head around for now.
Have got an account & can do a sealed pot but eBay could be tough as I've already cleared out most of our 'excess' before Christmas - all-adult household!0 -
Just updated my signiture to show how it's going! :j
What's best to put on Amazon? I have quite a lot of books, not sure whether to ebay or put them on amazon? is it easy to do?
Also wondering how long everyone leaves their vouchers with the company for? I've got 3131 on Shop and scan and not sure whether to get the vouchers, but i don't know what to get at the mo, especially as places keep going bust!:D
