Joe - I would definitely recommend only putting one or two reviews on a day, if that to begin with. When you are a new member on the review sites, people will be wary of rating your reviews as they won't know whether you'll rate back (very much a 'you scratch my back I'll scratch yours' situation). They will be even more wary if they see you putting on 5 reviews every day as it might imply the reviews are rushed and not well written (I'm not saying that's how your reviews would be, just what judgement a lot of people will make without even reading them).
Once you get more established, and people see that you will return ratings, then you will find things pick up a lot. I would still allow time for each review to get quite a few rates before putting on another though, unless there is a special promotion like the Chow one that is in it's last few days.

Pipsmum - yes, some of the survey sites do pay straight into your bank account. I can't remember which ones as I don't choose that option, hopefully someone else will be able to tell you. I think Chow pays straight into your bank too.
    Making money for Christmas 2012!

sorry stressed.mum, didn't mean to jump in there didn't notice you had posted x
  • Thanks for the challenges :) gonna do the ebay one and join other survey and review sites. hubby bought me the disney tin from Home bargains that you need a tin opener for as a christmas pressie lol!! I'm keeping my Florida money in there!!! I am registered on Dooyoo and have had a few £50s on there but not been on for over a year. Money is needed now so thats my first stop.

People that are doing ebay - I dont think the free listing weekends are that great in previous experience I find my stuff has sold for higher prices when listed on a non free weekend as there are less people listing so when stuff ends people pay more as there is less of the same iyswim. I've done well on facebook selling pages recently although not sure what I'm gonna sell now stuff is runnign low!!!

  • can I join the challenge please
Also... regarding doou, can you write a review on a book that is not on the site? I have just read a brilliant book and would love to review it but it is not listed when I do a search. Any ideas?
  • Thanks for explaining nicky, im off to rate back all the people who rated me. I can see this getting very addictive!
