Morning all
Just had four pages to catch up on lol. We got our heater sorted and for nothing after all. The bloke who came to make the electric safe put a new switch on the wall and fixed the heater back on the wall again, said it looked like nothing inside had broken so to see if it worked this morning and it was lovely and warm when I got up. I can ring up the other insurance now and tell them its sorted so will save making a proper claim.
Nice challenge Elysia for this month. I will join in all of them but I dont think we will have anything to Ebay but I will try to make the money by selling things I have made instead. I will have a head start if I can finish this cushion off as that will be £25. I am going to have a go today and see if I can get it finished. Also I want to make some more of the kindle cases. The one I made for my niece didnt fit as she has an older style Kindle so I made her another one instead and my sister is posting the first one back so I can put it on my shop. I am thinking of seeing if I can find the selling page on Facebook for my area and put some bits on there but not sure where to find it.
We had a nice day yesterday with the family, thats the last of our Christmas dinners out of the way. Not doing anything tonight as Oh is working today and tomorrow so he will have to be up at 5. YD is going out to a party and staying at her friends.
I will be going through the list of sites to join later on or tomorrow when I have finished my sewing as there are some I havent joined yet.
Happy New Year everyone if I dont get back on again today xx0 -
Morning all, cashed out on chow for £91 so happy with that.
Got awful toothache but in the middle of a course of treatment so don't want to have to go as an emergency as I will have to pay but my next appt isn't until the 18th so not sure if I will last that long. I would have rang my surgery on Tuesday but think i'm gonna have to take my eldest into hospital, she swallowed £1 about 15 months ago and she has had toilet problems since, it had calmed down and she is on medication but now she is complaining of stomach pains all the time and I have rang her specialist numerous times over the last 3 weeks and have got nowhere, her next appt isn't until 20th feb and I can't leave her in pain so I have been told I have to get my doctor to refer her to the day unit but of course monday is bank holiday so won't be able to do it then I don't think and she is supposed to be back to school tuesday so not sure what to do, think I will have to ring the day unit directly on monday and see what they say otherwise I know it isn't an emergency but I might take her to a&e so I can get her seen.
I will try and join some new sites on my days off, I already have a savings account so thats done, i;m not sure whether to do the ebay challenge as the things I have to sell are summer things so I think they would sell better in a couple of months and I need to get a sealed pot sorted. To get to Disneyland Florida 20160 -
emmad5689 poor Daughter, a friends daughter swallowed a £1 coin and I cant believe the trouble it causes, it seems a relatively minor thing at first and then you learn of all the complications. Hope she can stay comfortable until her referral, do you have an out of hours Doctor if it gets worse?

Enjoying reading all the posts but don't think I will be able to keep up when I'm back at work but maybe it will quieten down a little.
Good luck everyone with the challenges - I seem to struggle with ebay - nothing I have seems to sell but I will give it another go. Nice to see a few new survey sites. Will check before I ask for referrals as I may already be on some and just forgotten (or they have changed their names) .....
Onepost are looking for for people ("seeds") in Carlisle, Nottingham, Portsmouth & Romford. What happens is you are sent items of mail to your address with a code which you log on with the date received and you get a £1 for each item logged payable in M & S vouchers sent out when you reach £20. Mail varies between 6-10 items a month for me (don't know if it differs in areas) so get a voucher every 2-3 months. They advertise now and then for new people in certain areas so will keep you informed. If you live in any of above areas pm me for a referral - no guarantees as I think it depends on your actual postcode as I have referred people before who have been turned down.
Does anyone still do woohoo - I have about 200 gold stars but need 400!! don't know if I can be bothered .....0 -

I tend to keep woohoo running in the background when I am on the computer. You need 650 gold for £20 Amazon, I make between 10 and 15 gold a week so not a big earner

Morning everyone - There's not enough time in the day lately. I'll be ok when DD goes back to school on Wednesday. Final review for chow promotion written last night and was just shy of my £75 target. I'm not worried about 18p. I think I did quite well.
WOW Michelle you superstar. £150. Nice.

Baby news - now 3 days overdue. The scan yesterday showed a 'slightly bigger than average' baby but nothing to be alarmed about apparently. I had a big talk with a very nice doctor all about the pros and cons of c-section or normal delivery and she also answered lots of my questions about the tear last time and chances of it happening again. I have decided to go for a normal delivery so we're back to playing the waiting game! I'm feeling awful today though, hopefully that's a sign that things might happen soon. I've had really bad back ache and shooting pains down my tummy any time I move too much. I'm lying on the sofa now and DS is lying beside me watching Harry Potter, I'm not fit for much else today!
Hi Nicky,
I'm new here but wanted to wish you luck with your birth. I had my son in may and when I was 4 months pregnant was measuring as 7 months. I had too much amniotic fluid. I had complications with my daughters birth and was also recommended a c-section. I was told my son was also going to be a bog baby. Anyway to cut a very long story short I did deliver my son naturally (no drugs but not by choice!!!) as my contractions started at about 10pm and I had him at 11:32pm. Only just made it to hospital on time! He weighed 9lbs 15 and I did not tear at all with him - I had a very big tear with my daughter but all was fine this time round.
Anyway, I've just done my first redeem on Swags and I only started last week. I've taken advantage of the special offers on vista as I have 5 family birthdays this month alone and have sorted out some prezzies.'Fear is the path to the dark side. Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering.'
Proud Mummy to two gorgeous miracles.:j0
