  • Well I've signed up to t*l**a & chow, thanks to referrals. Going nicely on 1st one I think - clocked up 3,000+ with some to be credited. Finding chow a bit more puzzling - do you have to write a review before you can rate other people's? I thought you guys were saying to do some rating first but couldn't work it out. Then I haven't spent as long on it as t*l**a yet.

Well preserved - It's best if you read some first - that way you'll get to see the good and the bad ones, and know what sort of standard you have to be at. You can't rate until you've written one I think

  • Sounds good advice! Thanks!
  • Afternoon everyone.

Back to reality a bit today, sorting out clothes, putting kids toys away, and just sent DH to charity shop with 3 big bags of stuff, mainly clothes.

I'm about to send shop and scan data, and we need to pick the dog up in a little while. Not doing much tonight - we said we'll get a chinese and just watch telly. Tomorrow we are going to go and get some geocaching done so a fun day to start the year with.

I am just doing a bit of reading/rating. I might try and write another couple of reviews today, but I have more than had my share from that pot. I'm just worried it might be harder come January without a good promo. What will be.

I'll sit down at some point and look through that whole list of survey sites. There were names I did not know, so I bet I can join some new ones.

Right I've got more time to reply properly to everyone now the dog isn't so whiffy. :)

Well done on you SB redeem Jedi - It took me about two months to get my first one. I wasn't sure what I was doing. Well done you. Make sure you order Amazon UK vouchers (or paypal) though.

Stressed - I only play woohoo now if I'm bored, you have to keep clicking, it's not like the other one where you can auto buy. I've got about 200 too.

Boat girl - thanks for the code last night. I didn't come on after I'd posted the challenge, so I missed it. :(

Jena - It's not a race. You just do what you can cope with. Lots of members on here have full time jobs too. Anything they earn is a bonus. :)

Pips Mum - Happy New Year to you too

Rufus - well done on getting the heater sorted, and for free too. Is it tomorrow you're having your meal, or today? Have a lovely time anyway.

Loopy Lou - did you get your referral to Elite. If you didn't I'll do it for you. You need to just sign up first, and let me know your username and email address.

Tooti - Karoner is a member of B@re Intern@tional, and I used to be on one called G@pbusters. Thanks for the reminder - I've got one booked on the 4th. I don't even have to leave home - it's for a pizza delivery company. :D

Welshgranny - how are you hun? What did you want to join? Pm me and I'll see if I can help. You sound a bit confused. :(

I've forgotten who read the book and wan't to review it on DooU - Hun you can add five suggestions per week, but you can only add things that they are wanting at that time. One week it might be computers, the next kitchen equipment. Just write your review in a word document while it's fresh in your memory, and save it until it's time to add books. :) Is that OK. I hope that helps clear it up better.

PHew. Sorry to anyone I've missed.

Michelle - that's the same list I pm'd you a week or so ago.

Before I forget - that list is the just ones that I'm on - is anyone on anything else different to me? There must be plenty of other sites out there - could you let me know if you're on any thing different :)

I know about Sony - I couldn't get on that one. Are there any more? You can refer me (and everyone else) and make some money out of it. :)

  • Hi Nicky,

I'm new here but wanted to wish you luck with your birth. I had my son in may and when I was 4 months pregnant was measuring as 7 months. I had too much amniotic fluid. I had complications with my daughters birth and was also recommended a c-section. I was told my son was also going to be a bog baby. Anyway to cut a very long story short I did deliver my son naturally (no drugs but not by choice!!!) as my contractions started at about 10pm and I had him at 11:32pm. Only just made it to hospital on time! He weighed 9lbs 15 and I did not tear at all with him - I had a very big tear with my daughter but all was fine this time round.

Thank you so much for posting that :). I'm having a bit of a bad day, nothing in particular, just worrying about it all too much I think.
Each day I go further overdue it all feels too similar to my son's birth and then I get it in my head that it will be exactly the same - 2 weeks over, being induced, long delayed labour, ventouse, huge tear. It's so nice to hear that it went fine the second time round for you, especially with such a big boy!
    Making money for Christmas 2012!

    Afternoon everyone.
Phew, I think I am set up with a good few sites and done my first review on doo u and chow, it was me Elysia who wanted the info about a book, someone else gave me the info sadly they don't want new book reviews at the mo so I will be patient. I have now had a referral for Swagbucks (thanks Boatgirl) and have 46 points already - yay! Was already a member for toluna but can't sign in so waiting for them to get back to me. Started collecting puppy points on Andrex as I know a friend would love the slippers as a gift, have 10 need 80 so if of you lovely ladies have a code and won't be using it please PM me.
Thanks to Elysia and everyone for all your hard work on this thread, I am looking forward to getting to know you all. Good luck with the baby Nickybo.
  • Just for everyone's info - just spotted this on dy. So you can add from in the morning. ;) Not too long to wait.

    January’s Product Suggestions

    30/12/2011 - (02:22 PM)
The time has come to switch things up in the Suggestions department for the month of January. As and from Sunday morning, we shall be accepting suggestions in the following ten categories:

Books & Magazines, Computer, Cosmetics, Fashion & Beauty, Household Appliance, Photography, Sports, Telecommunications, Toys / Games and Video Games.

which is great news with all the new reviews we have written in December for c.

I wrote 34 in the end, and had 70 to copy across. I just wrote a new one now, and will try to do at least one more tonight for even numbers. Wow. Sounds such a lot in black and white. It didn't feel that many when writing them.
