Getting there slowly, need to ramp it up now though because I have pre-ordered my next design from Al,
    20" x 17" - 280 x 248 stitches  All in blue and white too.

My UFO list is nothing like all of yours...
    London
    Baby Dragon
    Gojuss the Foxes

Plus I have two newtons law's that I have finished but not added the words, but as I don't want the words on them just now I am classing them as finished.

Back to London while the tv is making noise in the background :rotfl:

    Evening lovely ladies,

Just popping by for a quick update of progress on Durham Cathedral.

    Here is last time:

    And now:

    photo-4.jpg

To be honest I'm struggling to find motivation to finish it, not really sure why. Think I might start stitch else small and then come back to it. Or maybe start something for next Christmas. Sorry for the mahoosive pics btw, can't get resize to work =/

Anyone else heading to the craft show at Bluewater this weekend? I'm going with my mum, not sure which day yet though, depends how she feels tomorrow :rotfl:

Hope everyone has a great weekend :)

Woo hoo, resize appears to have worked magically over night, how strange!

Sk00bie - it's looking good. It's hard when you lose the momentum to finish but I'm sure it will look lovely when it's finished.

    b_e_g - belated happy birthday.

Maria - after searching two credit card statements and my bank account I asked my husband if he could remember me ordering some cross stitch "stuff" whilst we were in a bedroom in Calais last April. Amazingly he remembered and that I had used paypal to pay. The company that I had the samples from was cross stitch heaven, here's the link http://www.cross-stitch-heaven.co.uk/index.asp?function=CART&ECD=3381&productid= to the sample page. It doesn't look like you can choose what you get now but it might help.

    Morning ladies

Just been looking on fleabay and it's starting to annoy me know how many cover kits are being listed with no charts included. Seems it is no-stitchers who have inherited the items then just stick them on there and seem to think people can just copy the picture on the front of the packaging.

I hope everyone has a lovely stitchy weekend - got a freesia picture to complete as I want to get it framed for my Mum for Mother's Day.

ALso, I bought the new Cross Stitcher yesterday but not anything in it I will stitch so listed it to sell but if anyone wants it on here first, drop me a PM. Includes the cover kit.

    Regards

sk00bie1 - Looks great, but I know how you feel with the lack of motivation, I'm exactly the same.

postingalwaysposting -good progress. I always like seeing designs when they are at that stage where I can't quite tell what I'm looking at. It always makes the next update more interesting!

harley - sounds like you had a great time. I've never been to a stitchy show as I don't have enough money and I know the temptation would be too strong!!

sweetcarer - hope he hears soon.

I finally sorted a picture of my progress to post and I can't get it to work. I have no idea why as I uploaded it to flickr and then used the insert image button on here, but it's not recognising it. It's exactly what I've always done with no probs before, so I can't figure out why it isn't working anymore!

Still I managed a fair bit of stitching last night whilst watching New Girl. I hadn't heard of it until hubby put it on, but I thought it was really good :)

You're very naughty - you've seen my list of UFO's and I didn't even mention the kits I have unstarted.

Anyway I've saved the January, June and December doorways and the Jamuary and december snowmen from the previous year. Who knows in 20 years I might get round to stitchung them.

Tellmeitsfriday - how did you find the link?

I did try to warn you ;)

How did I find the link.... erm, can't remember.

I was looking for something else and it came up in a Google search.

As for what I was looking for: it's called Blessings, Love & Joy from the 2003 Cross Country Stitching magazine

If any has it, I'd erm, love to look after if for you ;)

  • Oh wow, love these TMIF! Thanks so much for sharing :j
