    Evening lovely ladies,

Anyone else heading to the craft show at Bluewater this weekend? I'm going with my mum, not sure which day yet though, depends how she feels tomorrow :rotfl:

Hope everyone has a great weekend :)

I went yesterday :) Didn't get there until about 12 o'clock as I had radiotherapy (3/15) first thing and DH had been on nights.

Had a lovely time. It's not overly big but still mananged to buy 3 cross stitch kits, wool and pattern for a lovely cardigan and some special photo tape so I can finally do our wedding album. Only spent £50 which is probably a record for me at a show :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Had dinner after in TGI's then a wander round the shops. Bought sunglasses, 2 pairs of shorts and 2 tops for the honeymoon. Three weeks today

Really cold here today, so will stay in until work tonight and hopefully do some stitching this afternoon!

Maria - after searching two credit card statements and my bank account I asked my husband if he could remember me ordering some cross stitch "stuff" whilst we were in a bedroom in Calais last April. Amazingly he remembered and that I had used paypal to pay. The company that I had the samples from was cross stitch heaven, here's the link http://www.cross-stitch-heaven.co.uk/index.asp?function=CART&ECD=3381&productid= to the sample page. It doesn't look like you can choose what you get now but it might help.

What a fabulous site. They have 25 count evenweave magic guide fabric = already gridded:T
Plus Picture This Plus hand dyed fabrics which are "to die for"
    Thank you
  • hey....

Or does anyone know of a "grownup" piglet chart, pref for tea towl or tea cosy.

    thnx

Hi I noticed this piglet chart on the Cross Stitch Heaven website sale page. Not sure if it is the sort of thing you had in mind

I think I might make it for mum for mother's day :)
  • I did try to warn you ;)

How did I find the link.... erm, can't remember.

I was looking for something else and it came up in a Google search.

As for what I was looking for: it's called Blessings, Love & Joy from the 2003 Cross Country Stitching magazine

If any has it, I'd erm, love to look after if for you ;)

Hi I have just braved the killer dust bunnies that protect my stash of magazines and found the boxes with the CCS magazines but I can't see this design in any of the 2003 issues. Could it be in another year or can you check the month and I'll have another look. I've only skimmed through the 6 issues and looked at the index (and already found a couple of designs to add to the "must do" list).
  • Oh you're so kind FOS :)

It's this one - http://www.crosscountrystitching.com/magazines_dynamic/project.cfm?p_id=1575 in the October 2003 edition - the Hearts and Stitches section.

If you have it, I'd be so grateful :) x

Found it - I was looking for a single design and this is one of 3 so I missed it when skimming through. I can sort out a ;) on Monday.

Years ago I used do a lot of round robins and one of the alphabet ones I did was an angel alphabet from these designs
