Those Travelo atomisers are great. I bought 2 from Amazon a while ago & keep one in my handbag-gave the other to my mum. Such a brill idea.

    Congrats on the job! :j

We're flying this weekend too. Off to Iceland for a few days. Really hoping to see the Northern Lights. :T

A friend of mine went to Iceland last weekend (no, not the supermarket).

He said is was rainy and drizzly for two night, but the third night was perfect, and he has some lovely photos of the lights... I'll see if I can link some photos :)

    Have a wonderful time x
  • Congrats PP on the job.

Hi, I havent visited this thread before but I used to be a manic cross stitcher, then I just wasnt any more!!!! I have a few half done projects but my main reason for visiting is to see if anyone has a butterfly (pink) baby announcement pattern I could use. My Daughter has decorated her nursery with butterflies but I am struggling to find a sampler to go with the theme. Any help would be appriciated.
    Happy stitching all xx

not got a butterfly one but this one is cute: Solo the cat

I think this looks tacky but it has butterflies on: Honey Bee (sorry if anyones stitched it - sure it looks nicer once done)

quite a lot of winnie the pooh have butterflies on

    awwww a Tatty Ted one.

Or - here's just a butterfly - wouldn't be too hard to design your own?
loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:
  • Think I just lost my reply?
Was just asking if anyone could recommend a good / cheap laptop frame? There seem to be such a variation in price that I am confuddled!

How cheap is cheap to you? What's your budget?

Personally I love my elbesee clip frames and the stand that goes with them.

    This is the stand here
I didn't have the stand at first, I just leant my frame against the edge of an adjustable height table that I stood infront of me but now I have the stand it's much better.
I would recommend the clip frames rather than the ones you sew your fabric to, they are here
I would also recommend a helping hand if you intend to do large pieces, get the biggest available because it will hold smaller frames aswell as the biggest. Helping hands are here

As you can see the cost can soon add up but I wouldn't be without my 'setup' now I have it :D
:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:
  • Thanks Shelly,

It was something like http://www.sewandso.co.uk/ran1632-0.html that I had in mind but I have seen similar from about £15 to £48!!!
I dont really have the room for a floor stand at the minute and as I am stitching in bed a lot at the minute I think a lap frame may be easier.
The helping hands seem great!!! I am always losing everything!!!

    Buy that one!!:j

Honestly, I recommend it to everyone (had mine a couple of years now) and it's fantastic, I woudn't be without it. It's third on my list of stitching 'must haves' lol (after fabric and thread :rotfl:)

You would only need the small one, I can manage my HAED's on it easily.
