Not much stitching done here this week. I was really on a roll with the wizard but just been too tired & achy to pick up the frame!

Mags_cat - I love the countdown you have on your HEAD! Also love the work so far.

Nmm - (I think!), the puppy is very cute and Bella is a lovely name (can you tell I'm hoping my memory is remembering the correct things - its never bery good should write things down I want to comment on!)

Kit v Chart - has to be the chart everytime. I feel that kits are too overpriced but I can justify a chart as I usually have some of the threads & the aidato get started, then add as and when I've sold stuff on fleabay. I used to get everything at the start but needs must or whatever the saying is!

Once again you've all inspired me to get stitching. I think it'll have to be the sewing machine as that's only on a hoop so I should be able to hold & concentrate it for half an hour.

    Hi all,
I know some of you have already done this for me, but if you haven't, would you please take a minute to have a look at the link below? It's the pic of the Balloon Girl cross stitch that I entered into the Urban Cross stitch comp. We are currently in second place for most 'likes', so if you want to help get us up to first place, we'd really love it! Competition ends tomorrow!!!
    Thanks!

Forgot to add, have liked this now (and it is lovely!). Good luck xx

This is where I am starting from tonight, didn't manage to do any stitching last night.

Also I am a bit annoyed with myself as I noticed yesterday when showing my Mum what I have stitched so far that I have stitched on the wrong side of the afghan. However, I have stitched too much to unpick it all, and there is still a border on the side I have stitched on, just not as much detail as is on the other side...

Thank you. Some tough competition, though. There's some great stitching there.

Thank you. My brother did the canvas on the wall. Urban cross stitch may be turning it into a stitching chart...:T

  • Wow Caroline - you are wizzing through that Afghan!

Ladies - I need your help. Does anyone know where I can get a very cheap Dalek chart please?
It is my nephew's birthday in September and I have done a whole hamper of Doctor Who goodies, but want to stitch a card to match the theme.
I would be very greatful of any help.

Well, I finished the Meerkat and made the card up ready for a picture, but the hubby sealed the envelope before I took the photo. So I am affraid it will have to wait till Sunday when MIL opens it to share the pic on here.

Ruth-honey - liked the picture, and I do like it. :)

Hope you are all having a stitchy evening
