Not got much done tonight as baby decided tonight wasn't a sleep night...lol...He has finally gave in and passed out so am going to try and get a little more done.

While I was on Lucie Heatons site buying this one I seen a Christmas ABC that I also fancy, and don't know why but thought I would get both of these done before Christmas...

Hubby sat with me tonight and we worked out that each square is taking roughly 3 nights to complete, so 28 squares will take 84 nights and then the backing and tying the fringes up into knots, so each full afghan will take about 3 months...Looks like the Christmas one will be next years project....lol

Although I think I am going to ask my Mum does she want to buy it for me as Christmas present, with all the threads and materials needed....would be a brilliant present and she never knows what to buy me so win win for both of us....lol...

Morning all :wave:

Ended up having an early night last night and was tired and headchey so didn't manage any cross stitch.

I hadn't been dozing long when I was rudely interrupted by the cat that has been visiting recently. queue major cat fight at the bottom of my stairs which was horrible. I'm just hoping he has been finally scared away. BUT I now have one very grumpy cat and I think he hurt his tail last night as it looks swollen and he growls when you try to touch it.

Anyhow thats the cat news. In cross stitch news, found the garden alphabet I was looking for so started something - just not sure whether to do an individual letter or the whole name (6 letters)

Will see how long it takes me to do the first letter and decide although I think for the true effect, I'm going to need to do all six. I'm stitching on cream aida and it will be bookmark shaped so what do you think the best way will be to finish it? I think it will be too big to go on a card?
