Ooooo shiney!
Hello ladies,
my plan is to finish
1) "darth duck!"
2) On the beach
And to start and finish
1) Lottie (another one for DD) Mummy's shoes
2) Ollie owl (for DS)
3) Tiny Tatty teddy Afghan (Ebay bargain that I couldn't resist, less than half price though, so thats ok isn't it ladies? lol)
And to find something fabulous to stitch on my aida bag that is still sat where I put it the day it arrived.
Chances of doing all that by 2013.... slim to none :rotfl: but I am willing to try!
Hope everyone is having a lovely Christmas, and here's hoping the new year is much better for us all!

Hello everyone. Hope you all had a Merry Christmas and here's to a fantastic New Year.
I shall be continuing with Forest Walk which is coming along slowly but surely. I got a floor stand for Christmas which I'll be using so hopefully I can stitch a bit quicker. The sooner I finish Forest Walk the sooner I can start my next HAED which is Magic Grotto. But I would also like to finish a couple of UFO's as well next year. I've taken up crochet again and having lots of fun with it <sigh> so little time to do everything.
Happy new year everyone

I have been lurking for a while, but haven't posted for aaaaaaages, oops!
Hope you all had a lovely time over Christmas. I was at my parents' and Mum absolutely loved her Autumn Reflections picture :

So now she has the complete set - all four seasons. I was right though - because the winter scene is one of the first I ever stitched (about 20+ years ago!) it's not the same designer as the other three, and it's rectangular, not circular. So she's already found another Heritage kit for me to do so she can have all four seasons in circular designs...she has been instructed not to hold her breath :rotfl:
Tenby Harbour is progressing. Slowly. I have about 2/3rds of page 3 stitched - hoping to get that finished, but probably not backstitched over the rest of the holiday.0 -
Hi ladies.
Happy New Year to you all!
After not asking for any stitchy things for xmas I got a kit from my Mum & Dad. Complete surprise! It's a stitch-a-pic type kit that they sent to an online company, one of our wedding day. I didn't know that they knew things like that existed...lol

Hello,
I haven't been stitching, been knitting and lately not even that.
Only stitchy thing I have done is to get the Chick Berry framed for BF's Mum for xmas. Will load picture when I get a moment.
My aim is to finish second page of the Wolves by the end of February (I haven't touched it since early August). Oh and get the Wren finished and framed, it is almost there.

does anyone have one of those tanto thread organisers. this is what is winning the race for the voucher spend at the moment....
Yes I have one of those. I dont really use it much though as I find it too tall and some of the threads from kits are small. It does work and its very good.cross stitch cafe #90 UFO's 6 to finish in 2013, and loads of new kits to boot

I don't post very often as I don't often log in, but I'm going to join in with this thread as I have so many projects that I've started but not finished:o
I bought Celtic Summer in 2003 and admittedly I didn't start it until 2010, but I've hardly touched it and I've got Celtic Spring and Celtic Autumn to do yet too:o
I'm hoping if I follow this thread, I will be inspired to do more...as long as I don't spend more time reading and no time sewing:p0 -

Thanks for your post. I can't make up my mind but I am warming to it! I like the idea that the threads for a particular project can be stored on the pegs ready to be picked off as needed.
I didn't realise that you can dismantle for storage - it seems to fold up )for want of a better word (Because it doesn't fold) but it seems to store quite neatly. I could keep it in a pillow case to keep the dust away...0 -
PS Your views on this kit please kitty litter
I like it but not sure I like it enough to stitch it.....0
