Hello everyone, it's a long time since I've been on here. I just saw the new thread and realised I'd forgotten all about the cross stitch cafe! I'm still stitching African Sunset, so I haven't really progressed since I was last here. Hi to all the newbies too.
Hope you all had a great ChristmasCross Stitch Cafe member no.800 -

Your little robin looks so sweet Observer. :T
Looking forward to seeing your progress pap. Have been thinking about starting owl (blackwork) - I thinks it on evenweave. Trying to finish off card (gift card size) with backstitch and I really can't get into it but I am not starting anything else until its finished (arrgghh)

I am starting my new years resolution early...I will post more often instead of just lurking and reading/watching everyone elses progress!
Its been over 6 months since I last posted....oh dear.
I've done a bit of stitching but no where near as much as I wanted to. I had intended to do most of my Christmas cards as cross stitch but in the end only had enough to make 3 so I have put these aside until next year and I am going to make the rest over the year rather than waiting until the last minute.
I am still working on the tiger I started in 2000ishm and have begun to subscribe to some magazines so I am going to pick some smaller projects out of those, again I think these will mainly be made into cards.
Hugs to everyone that needs them
Vickie
Oh yes...challenges. Again I am going to keep working on my tiger and aim to have it finished before the end of 2012.
In January I am going to decide on my next few projects and get the threads ordered for them.Cross Stitch Cafe Challenge Member #53.

Happy new thread everyone.
My plan is to sort out the crafty box and make a list of things I want to do this year in order. Also want to make a gorjuss cross stitch for a friends daughter (Feb) and determined that I will stitch some cards and some more squares for lovequilts. Going to get diary out tomorrow and start planning and stitching.Mortgage £119,533 going down slowly
