Well done Chicky - I did similar added stuff to my bag and then decided I didn't really need it and closed the page.
Would anyone else like to join our mutual appreciation club for not spending on yankee candles? LOL
I have to hold my hand up and say I decided that if I could afford to spend that sort of money then I could afford to have one of my pieces framed. How sad am I.Cross Stitch Cafe Member #59 :j

If anyone has used Venus threads before what does everyone think of them ? Are they better or the same as DMC threads?
They seem to be cheaper than DMC, just wondered what people thoughts were before I got any.
imo they are the same quality as the dmc .
i used them to stitch 2 big pictures, one ' the picture gallery' from www.goldenkite.com which took me three years to finish!!!!! and the one i am doing now. will post pics when i learn how. hth.
edited to add ; a quick google found this site www.xstitchcrafts.com selling venus threads for 30p as they are discontinuing stocking them.( have never used this site though)0 -
