I absolutley love this one (not that the other one isn't nice) you must finish it. If it's any help the dragons toasting marshmallows that I've just finished was started when my son was about 2 he's 13 now so about 11 years ago. Glad it's finished.

With regards to the dragon on the castle what size is the design?

    It's done on 18ct aida,
    Stitch count 90w x 123h
    Design size 5" x 6 7/8"

I don't know what has happened to the Aida it did come with the kit but I found the threads and the chart separate in my box.

    Hi ladies.

    Mags. Nice progress.

    Emma. Nice progress on Gorjuss.

    Ailsb. Love the finished Dragons.

Chicky. Hope you feel better soon x I wouldn't fancy the coil either but I used to work with a friend who had had one for years and got on fine with it.

aneres. The fireball dragon is stunning, get it finished!

As I type we have just had a heavy hailstone shower, I thought the roof was caving in!

Drat...they're out of stock already :(

I've used this company before - bought through eBay and they were great, fast postage and good comms.

Sk00bie - I agree with you I feel really pleased when I have thread left when I finish a kit. however, it does beg the question what do I do with the remaining thread as I feel that I shouldn't be throwing it away. I have lots of thread left in thread organisers that I never look at again. Well done on finishing the monster design, it looks really good.

I know, I've got all the little bits saved in a bag... will have to think of something to use them for :D
Morning everyone. Thank you for all your kind comments about my couch companion. It is a pattern ;) which I got from this site
BTW they sell XS charts as well e.g. Skoobie's Snow Garden by Blackbird Designs - you have been warned:D
Gorjuss is lovely and you seem to have made good progress

The Future Publishing site has some back issues of CS Collection inc the ladybird fairy one for £4.99 free postage and if you go through TopCashBack or Quidco you get cash back:money:

For Cross Stitch Gold if you subscribe using the 5 issues for £5 offer you can then order back issues at a reduced subscriber rate - probably cheaper in the end than trailing round the shops

Haha Thanks FOS, will have a look. Don't worry though I'm not going to be buying until next month now.

I might have to resort to back issues of XS Gold if I can't find the current issue, although all the 5 for £5 i click on say that the offer isn't available in my country :(

    Morning everyone,

Thought I'd share a couple of my UFO's that I have come across whilst looking through my stash box.

Edited to add - there appears to be a person just above the dragon pic - I'm in the house on my own, hoping it's off the tv.

Aneres - I love this, you must finish it, you're so close!

Sweetcarer - I love the floral garlands, and how sweet of your hubby to buy you a gift :)
