    Thanks sk00bie, that's a great help as well, and that site is now in my favourites (plus, I got a shamrock from there which I hadn't thought about before)

    I'm actually doing pretty well with them now, I listed before I started thinking about any of them. I googled the flag and it's only 3 stripes, so that was easy. I had been thinking of eidleweiss (sp?) or something, but why complicate things for myself :o

    Louise So sorry to hear of your loss. I think you are probably "sorted" now for your designs but I know that my issue Cross Stitch Crazy 161 has a smallish designs of the Pyramids of Giza if that helps at all. Your book of condolence is a lovely idea and something the family will treasure. Just a thought - you mentioned charting Dad but have you thought about charting his name plus Dad, Husband, Brother, Friend etc - there are lots of simple alphabets around and they wouldn't take long to stitch among the motifs.
