catwoman and Louise - Thanks, I know I'm strange, but I look at half cross stitch and think 'hmm, looks like I didn't put enough effort in!' :rotfl: I wouldn't go back and restitch the other half on top, as that would mean the cross on top would be going the wrong way to the rest of the piece. I think I have slightly OCD tendencies, but that would really bug me
Flat Eric - I love that pin cushion, it's so sweet!
Hope everyone's having a good day, it's lovely and warm and sunny here. It's the first time this year the kids have been out playing on the trampoline. Only downside is that its been too nice to sit and do stitching!!Cross Stitch Cafe member no.800 -

love all the photos posted everyones work is so inspiring
i love the african sunset as it is, as Louise said if you did the sky in full X stitches you would risk loosing some of the depth in the picture

Just found this...... BRILL if you have an I-Phone............Protect your device with this soft Cross Stitch style silicone jacket. Made of high quality flexible silicone with cut-outs for essential functions. Super lightweight and great protection for your device. The skin is covered with a clear protective layer for ultimate durability. The high quality thick silicon skin provides the ultimate buffer for protecting your device from bumps and knocks. It's also a fun case that has a part on the back you can cross-stitch into, allowing to make various unique patterns.loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Just had to say KatyLiz - love African Sunset. The colours are stunning. I think I would stay with the half stitches as some of the other ladies have said I think it gives depth and texture to the overall picture. Can't wait to see your next update - no pressure
Take care everyone
