Hello all :j
Well hospital complaint meeting over thank goodness and I got some answers (already had the apoloogies). Seems the clips put on to OH's cystic duct (I had to google that one!) after his gall bladder removal had come off hence the leak, hence following emergencies. So, now I know, after showing myself up and blubbing my way through it all. They were all so nice though and explained everything so well. Why they can't do that in the first place I don't know.
Not sure whether I'll take it any further. Don;t think I''d cope with the stress of it all. We'll see.
Now must get thinking about xmas, pressies and all that goes with it but doubt I can keep up with you all.
Hope you're all ok:)I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Hi Mary, glad you have found out what it was causing all the problems at long last. I dont blame you for not knowing whether to go on with it, it has been a right pain to get this far hasn't it. Will be good to put it all behind you and concentrate on Christmas.
I have been sorting out my stuff for the craft fair tomorrow. Decided to leave the art folders behind what I was going to sell as I need four for Christmas presents anyway and thats the amount I have so will save me having to make some more of them up. Thats OH's God children done and dusted lol.
I still need to make the cushion for my great niece, in fact I have two of them who would probably like a cushion, may be with their name on or something so will sort them out when I get a chance.
Also need to make a toy dinosaur when I can find some nice fabric to make it out of, that will be for Great nephew.
That will leave a main present for two big grandsons and something for the baby, plus something for my Dad and then its just little bits and pieces to make it all look a bit more.0 -
Mary - thats brilliant news about OH, at least getting an answer you know where you are, totally agree, why the heck couldn't they tell you in the 1st place.

Hello all:j
Thanks for your concerns about me and OH. It helps to known people care.
My counsellor came today and she helps a lot. She has similar craft interests and has spurred me on a bit -even went out and bought some buttons for button necklaces...........lol
Next time she comes hopefully she'll have some fresh ideas for me to focus on. Might not get them done for this xmas but there's always next year.
Hope you're ok:)I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Mary - thats brilliant, the button necklaces sounds nice.
An interesting weekend, fab day Sat took Miss hoodie to a local food fair, lots of free samples, our fav was mulled cider, brought bottle ready for xmas!
Sun - went completly differently - am brill - car boot made £40, brought miss Hoodie pr of big headphones £2 brand new - brill dad tried them with his radio and he had to turn his volume down by half, and she also had brand new boxed pair of ankle pumps, funky, (originally £39, reduced to £18) we paid £2...
afternoon - had one of my lovely allergy attacks, - nice bruise from my jab from a yogurt that had million times b4! xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Blimey Mum2one, those attacks must be well scary if you dont know what is going to trigger them off. Well done on the boot fair. Our craft fair went a bit better this time, we made the stall money which was £30 then made £15 on top of that which wasnt a lot but it was a nice day, loved the place where we were and learned loads for next one.
Mary, what a nice thing for her to do, get the buttons, sounds like she is a very caring person and good you have things in common, makes talking to someone much easier doesn't it.
I ordered another box set dvd for OH the other day out of my Amazon stash and yesterday ordered the last mug with name on for what used to be Youngest Grandson but isnt any more so think I am going to go the numbering route for them from now on lol.
Hoping OH will take me to the fabric shop this morning before he goes off out for the day, its his Mum's birthday and he is taking her out for a meal. I want to get something nice and bright to make a toy dinosaur for my great nephew, thinking of making one for the baby too or should I say GS5 lol. Not sure if he would prefer a cuddly one made out of fleece more than a cotton one.0 -
Hello all :j
Yippee.............made a button necklace:T Least I've made a bit of a start even though I might keep this one..............lol
Ordered the little mini sewing machine I was on about so that should arrive Friday and I'll see how I get on with that. Least I'm getting back into the swing of things. I know I'll have days when my heads somewhere else but if I can make the best of the good days I'll be getting somewhere.
mum2one hope your pain clinic is better than ours...........has to be -can';t be one like ours I'm sure................good luck
Hope you're all ok:)I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Mary - that sounds brill with the sewing machine, at least with it being small you can leave it out and come back to it, the button necklace sounds great, whats next on the to make list.
I last went 5 yrs ago to our pain clinic, paper filling exercise, my then GP pulled me out as it was a waste of time, but have to give it a go!
bit weird the attack has had the yogurts before, lucky as DD had gone out for day, so when she got back was tired, but shes use to that on sunday if I've done car boot. I hoping the Gp will be able to get to the bottom of it, looks like cherries are now a no go!
just finsihed knitting a scarf for miss Hoodies friend, - from wool got sunday cost me 20p and got her bratz handbag 50p (new) from carboot in summer - very expensive prezzie!
Miss Hoodie goes away 2mor for 2 ngts, miss her, shes packed her own suitcase, seems organised bless her.
So the plan is wrap rest of prezzies 7 between now and xmas - all brought just need to be wrapped.
Dads on cleaning duty, he's doing the fridge and freezer. xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0
