    Hello all :j

susan - of how I miss my art classes. I did water colours......hadn''t done them before and wasn't that brilliant but found it really relaxing. Then mum was ill, art teacher moved away, hospitals ......well you know the rest .......expect there are still art classes somewhere in the town but its getting to them with all my stuff thats the problem now. I did tell myself I'd do some at home just to vary my days but haven't got the paints out for ages now. Maybe you'll spur me on now to do something like that just for change.

Had real lazy day today..........don't know why but I did get my horticultural gloves on (of a sort) this afternoon when my little alpines and lavendars arrived. They needed putting in bigger pots till theres no risk of frost so OH filled some pots and I stuck them in and they're sitting happily on the window sill. Wild flowers keep getting an airing outside then brought in at night. So I have done something..........not a lot though.

    Hope you're all ok:)

    Hello all :j

Ooops.........been awol these last two days.

Well trip out on Wednesday didn't go as well as I thought it would. Weather didn't help.........cold wet and windy, my friends driving is a bit erratic (no good for my back:eek:)
Shop we went to that used to sell cheap crafty bits now sells cheapo track suits etc. Got myself some much needed socks (exciting or what!!)
Then my other friend needed to go to sainsburys.......by then I'd lost interest to be honest and was glad to get home in my little comfort zone. Still, it was nice to see my friends and now I know there is still life outside my little town.
OH went to see back specialist and he has osteoporisis -same as me. What are the odds of that happening in the same household within roughly the same time ! He had xray and the broken bones are healing ok so its a ''keep taking the tablets'' and come back in 6 months, meantime don't lift anything heavy etc.
Still at least now he knows and he got to see the 'main man' not just one of his registrars which is what normally happens.

Not done much since then apart from planting some seeds in little pots on the window sill in the hope they'll grow...........me and seeds don't normally get on...........lol

Must get backside kicked and do something before I start climbing the walls.

Hope you're all ok and surviving our strange weather:)

Hi everyone, hope you are having a nice weekend. I have had a busy week, met my friend twice this week she has had a bit of a bad time, her daughter's bf died last week, he was only 30. Friend not been well herself then yesterday her Mum died. I feel so sorry for her.

We have still been adding a few plants here and there to the garden, its looking lovely out there already, just a shame about the weather.

We have been trying out the new PS3 as well during the week, its given us something different to do of an evening but the sky plus box is filling up so we will need to watch some of it soon.

I have got the cord at last to finish off my SIL's back pack, only taken me 6 weeks or so to get it lol. I might try to finish it off tomorrow.

rufus - so sorry to hear about your friend - its not easy to cheer anyone up in those situations is it. Hugs x

Not done much today due to rain and feeling a bit ''down''..............must be the weather I think.

    Hope you're all ok:)
