Well done on the assignment mum2one. Very wet weather -yesterday we had hail :-( and the heating is back on.MrsSD declutter medals 2023 🏅🏅🏅⭐⭐ 2025

Hello all :j
Sunshine today.........thought it was a bit warmer but had a change of mind now..........heatings gone on -again !
Wrapped up embroidered motto thing for pressie to be posted tomorrow (If OH remembers). He's all over the place at the minute. Managed to get through to pain clinic this morning and cancel his appt -next one won't be for at least 2 weeks but he felt he needed to see gp about chest infection. Managed to get emergency appt and he's got anti biotics so fingers crossed they do the trick. Told him he should have gone to see gp the other week..........men !!
Bit of a lazy day apart from cleaner coming -I always ask her to leave the dusting - I can manage that if there's no bending.......so out came the duster and what do you know.......no polish ! So I think all I've done really is de-distribute the dust. Oh well............whats the difference between one layer or two........not enough to fret about.
mum2one - well done on assignment. Don't know how you manage it.
Hope you're all ok:)I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Hello all :j
Another day of mixed weather.........sunshine then rain but it stayed find long enough for gardener chap to plant some herbs in the new brick raised bed so it actually looks like it should. Still some gaps to fill but OH has seeds all over the house.............lol He feels a bit better today thank goodness and even bought a little climbing plant off our market and a rosemary bush to go outside the back door.
Brother arrives tomorrow about 10 armed with some card for me and a winter coat (if it fits) -think he and SIL must be having a clear out................lol
Must start thinking about christmas..........think I'll do a xmas eve box for foster daughters baby....that might get me started on other things. Have to keep it cheap as poss this year -needs must.
Hope you're all ok:)I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Good news haven't got to go to court, the solicotrs have come up with the agreement between themselves, basically the outcome that my solicior said the court would give.
Positives - haven't got to go to court
Negatives - Having to tell DD she'll be having letters, she said she doesn't want them, lifes not as simple, we just have to see how she gets on with the letter, the 1st one due June, good bit I'm taking her away end of May just the two of us, but were meeting some friends theyre going out 1st - they go on the wed as we fly on the sun, DD gets on brill with them, she calls them Aunty and Uncle, - we;ve got week and half with them and then couple of days just us,. should soften the blow.xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Thats great news about not having to go to court mum2one is that a long term decision or do you have to go back at a later date? I have got to go in July now.
Been thundering here today and had hail yesterday, its horrible out there.
Hope all is keeping well xxx0 -

Keep fingers crossed for your for july, don't forget om me anything if you need anything.
We go back again in 12 months time, but they've allocated 30 mins, Miss Hoodie will have to see Cafcass to see how she coped with the letters etc, then the hearing is planned to decide on the next step as to whether theres direct contact or not.
I guess its 12 months breathing space. Just wish they would listen to what she wants, but they say shes been too young, but by next yr she'll be 10 1/2, and hopefully more outspoken. xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Thanks mum2one, 12 months to regain sanity sounds good lol. It really is not fair that they dont listen to the children and us mums, how can they say what is best when its us that spend 24/7 with them and have to pick up pieces after they have dropped the bombshell.
Washing machine has packed up,luckily its only 9 months old so someone coming tomorrow to look at it.0 -
uve hit it on the spot, the magistrares and cafcass there not the ones picking up the pieces, and as you its us 24/7, for Miss Hoodie shes never seen her dad, the one she was a baby, in her puchchair, I walked past him, he turned and looked the other way, now nearly 10 yrs later hes daddy of the yr, yet the courts seem to think the fathers are hard done by, theres always going to be genuine fathers and theres going to be the delightful ones!!
Onwards and upwards, were having a treat 2mor going to see Mirror mirror, plzed as I wanted to see it, but gave her the choice, and she choose that xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0
