OH thinks he's got a cold, sniffing, blowing and coughing.Told him to get some strepsils or something when he went out but did he ? Course not ...........typical man !

Christening tomorrow so shan't be about.

Morning all, had a lovely day yesterday, spoilt rotten and got some lovely presents and lots of flowers. Was nice to all be together at my Dads too.

Today I am going to sort out the fabric I bought off Ebay. We picked it up on Friday with my sister. I was expecting 4 large black sack full but each bag was the size of a person lol. OH couldn't believe it when he saw the size of them, we only just about fitted them in the car along with my sister and her bag. Had to empty out one bag and fit the bits in the empty spaces.

I am going to see if I can make myself some jackets and new trousers out of some of it. Will be a bargain if I can as I only paid £2 for the lot.

    Hello all :j

Christening went well and baby was so good...laughing all the time despite having a lousy cold............talking of which I'd forgotten how cold churches are and how hard the seats can be..........crikey my back !! Pub afterwards for roast beef/turkey/pork, potatos, salad etc. and christening cake. Pub was crowded and had to fight the way to the loo...........lol Just shows I don't go out very often.
Was glad to get home to the sofa and a bit of peace but it was a lovely day.
OH had appt at pain clinic tomorrow(for what it would be worth -nothings worked yet) but feels he should see GP instead about possible chest infection (told him to go last week - men !!) Well, trying to cancel anything medical on bank holidays is a nightmare..........managed to get through to hospital transport and cancel that anyway. Didn't want them turning out for no reason. I'll ring pain clinic in the morning.
Been another cold wet day...........yuk ! Dismal and depressing so got stuck into finishing off some embroidery for my friends birthday......not till November.................lol But at least its done.

    Hope you're all ok:)

the weather been awful here, rain and wind, we've done quite well about 10 miles from us, the rain been that heavy pushing up rain covers and a foot ball match called off.

The weather as bad for the rest of the week! sods law we've got Miss Hoodie having a sleepover here - 2 days of her friend running around...

Then the highlight of the week, 8 hours on Friday all day been allocated for the final court hearing, I am not looking forward to it... we should get an answer, haven't told Miss Hoodie yet, have to do that Thursday night, she doesn't take anything well to do with her other side of the family.

Very quiet Easter here, with the weather, meant to be worse as the week goes on, hope it brightens up on Sat, were suppose to be going up the coast for the day!

Some good news have submitted my last assisgment for my one OU course, early as its due Thurs midday - gd for me as early normally 30 mins to spare, thou won't find out till June if I have passed it, if i do, if I do (big fingers crossed) give me a foundation degree in business.

Just got to finish the assisgnment for other course - also due thurs by midday, half way through that.

I know it sounds daft but worrying about this keeping mind off the court case, x

Just had to share this - Miss Hoodie ealier - in cheeky mode - says to dad ah you men, you can't do more than one thing at a time, your not like us women who can multitask.....
I was in the little room trying not to laugh, she was so serious when she said it to him, he was too gobsmacked to tell her off!
