Its looks lovely, - copied it cheers xx

mum2one - you could do a mix of both recipes! lol I like the idea of extra sultanas.

I'm sure I read somewhere on here some ideas for advent activities. I'm thinking of putting ina little activity into DD's advent calendar this year for each day in December. Things like "Go for a walk to see christmas lights", "Write a letter to father christmas", that type of thing. Can anyone remember there being anything else like that on here? Or does anyone have any ideas?

    Thanks

  • cdsmiler I think that is a great idea. We always go to the local garden centre to see the decorations too. Our local history museum always have a Christmas event too where they sell local handmade crafts, homemade Christmas food and have carol singing. Real reindeers are also there with Santa giving out gifts to children.

def agree with the stamps, its awful how much they put them up by!

Good luck with your OU call, your soon catch up, its just getting into the got to do it mode!! apologies if asked b4 what course are you doing? xx

The call was enjoyable and little man has been so well behaved, playing happily with his toys and glued to Peppa Pig and let me catch up the last couple of days so I managed to catch up :)

I'm studying towards a Literature degree but only on an openings course - Making Sense of the Arts.
Did you get your business degree through the OU? Sorry if I, again, have asked before. Our poor minds have holes in :rotfl: well mine certainly has from the many sleepless teething-induced nights!

In thrifty gift news, I really must make some sort of list of what I need to get and what I need to make as I keep thinking of ideas and then, thanks to my holey memory, it just disappears. Also waiting for a new Grabbit parcels to turn up which is exciting :rotfl: :T

Glad the call went ok, I got my degree with the OU, I should really be turning into a full degree this yr, but doing a course in Social Sciences,

Don't forget the openings are still a level 1 course, so your doing the equivalent of a 1st yr normal student. Your brainy doing literature, wouldn't have a clue where to start! I'm just glad theres spell check!!

On an xmassy note my raisins are plumping up nicely! - could be something to do with Miss Hoodies just adding a bit more alcohol for extra flavour. xx
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx

Lol that made me laugh SugarSpun!!

Fab list, thank you. Love the tidy your room idea - unfortunately we're at my parents for Christmas but in future that would be a great one at home.

Thank you for reminding me of the video!!

Some brilliant ideas though.Mind if I ask you about a few of them?
    * What's the Christmas hands Christmas tree canvas??
    * Frozen bubbles? Just normal bubble mixture or something different?

    Thanks!

    Christmas hands :xmastree:

Our temperature is reliably well below zero so regular bubble mix freezes outside :xmastree:
