On the Christmas Front - Boots have started their offer of the week - this week its a Fern Cotton Hat Box Gift Set - reduced to £17.50
I had the Fern set 2 yrs ago and it wasn't worth the money then, although the contents have improved, maybe there be better offers.
Ebay - Are doing this weekend as free listing again, - may be time to hit the relist button!

Christmas hands :xmastree:
Our temperature is reliably well below zero so regular bubble mix freezes outside :xmastree:
Thank you!
Wish we had reliable winter weather - we'd know what to expect then and prepare for it! lol
Mary - you take care my lovely.
Mum2one - had a look at that hat box - does seem a LITTLE over priced for what's in it, but I'm very much a cheapskate where toiletries are concerned! lol
Hope everyone else is doing well!

Hi everyone, been busy as usual. Sorted another present out, well its in the making. Thought of making OH's mum an apron but wasnt sure what to make it out of, then OH said she likes green so when I was at the craft show the other day I bought some bits of fabric to make a patchwork one. The front of it is made up, need to back it and sew on the tapes. Have enough fabric left over to make oven gloves and an oven mitt to match so will be getting on with that in the week.
I have been making loads of elves for people, said I would make one for someone and then a load of others asked me to do them some too, ended up with 13 of them lol. We have been surround with tiny legs and arms for over a week. I am on the last batch of them now, making two extra to see if I can sell them on my stall.
The batman hoodie for YD turned up and it looks like a nice quality so might order the Superman one too. Also got OH another aftershave he wanted, all with Amazon vouchers. Also ordered a book for one of the GS's, he plays ice hockey and found a book with lots of boys stories in it about the game, had to order it from the US so will take a while to get here but he will like that.
Went in 99p shop the other day and they had some moneyboxes, made out of what I would call china but it isnt, its the cheap stuff lol but breaks if you drop it. They had some in the shape of gold bullion bars and some in the shape of £ signs. Got a gold bullion bar for OH's bro, OH is going to stick a note in it for him. The bank company on the bar is who his bro works for so very apt. I am going to use the silver £ sign to put son's £2 coins in. Won't put them in till nearer the time or it might chip. Will look next week and see if they have another one as might save for ED's wedding after this one is over.
I'm up early as we are doing a craft stall today so catch up later xx0 -
I now have mincemeat - called via Aldi, so pop it to soak in sherry, all really need now is Brandy Sauce,
Miss Hoodie lost a tooth tonight, its been wobbly for a few months but came out tonight, - bless her she said don't bother leaving any money under my pillow, I knows its you and not the tooth-fairy!! I'm sure it still cost me £2 any how!!
Rufus - Glad your craft stall went ok, and they sound some fab ideas youve got for the moneyboxes.
I've just done an order with bookpeople, - so Miss hoodie can have her Simpsons annual. xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
