    Hello All x x

Just used the Whittards code from Martins email and got my Nans present sorted. Got Best of British preserve set, 80 teabags, shortbread biscuits and then the 4 free mugs. Also treated myself to the Luxury Hot Choc and also a Rocky Road Hot Choc quite dear but going to pop them into the Christmas Eve Hamper. Got free postage too and 15% topcashback.

6 days until Pea arrives now but midwife said the other day "it" was almost fully engaged so might not make it to then! Will keep you posted!

Now done bag 2 for DD's cinema party!!

Each got bag of pick and mix sweets, chews, bag of pop corn and small bottle vimto for the film, (£1.50 for each bag)

    Then the "Take home bag"

Girls - Mug, comb, lipgloss, notebook, pen, sweets, mini gift set, purse, little notes - Each bag worked out at £2, but if paid full price more like £8.

2 x boys - Activity book, reading book and build your own jeep - worked out £1.66 a bag proper price £4.

We're taking them for a pizza, when we were kids we were happy with a ballon, piece of cake and tube of refreshers!!

Thought was being very organised for next yrs bday, then found out we've got a 21st and 50th!
Going to do 21 box - set target £10 (be off Miss Hoodie), and see whether to do a 50 box.

Cheated 2ngt - Poundworld - they have Aunt Bessies ready to make pastry, - 3 bags for £2, (cheaper than what i paid in Mr M last yr, - sounds daft cheaper than making pastry by hand, - ready for when get to do mince pies. xx

Mum2One - Do you pay for the cinema tickets and pizza for them all too?? This children's parties lark is a blinking expensive business isn't it! I'm making the most of DD being too little to want anything extravagant and we're just having an 'at home' tea party style for her 3rd birthday!! lol

I'm paying ..... cinema not too bad as its £1 show, the pizzas - there going to have kids meals, quick check works out £5 for pizza, drink + icecream for kids, then allowed £15 each for me + dad. (£60)

The parties just get expensive, she did want a bowling party, but when we did that 2 yrs ago I think it was about £120. Thou can't complain last yr she took 10 to the £1 movies, and there party bag was mixed bag of sweets £1 each, did have a cheap year.

Def make the most of the at home parties! xx

Ours is Cineworld, they do movies for juniors on Sat am, - there films that have been out for a while, and u get a choice of 3 films, there off to see Magadasar 2, (generally films that are just about to go out on DVD)

if you have Odeon - they do Sat morning films £2.50 childs ticket, and adult goes free.

when Miss hoodie was younger, she use to think the cinema only opened on a Sat morning!! (naughty mummy!!!).

    Hello all :j

Well I made a start - sort of - tried to make some cases for flannel cupcakes - every attempt went wrong so I've binned that idea for now.
List made of ''stuff to do'' =-next is list for ''stuff to get to do it''..............lol

Hospital visit Wednesday went sort of ok. Surgeon says OH is to have another CT scan to check the thickness of his stomach lining before anything can be done and he'll also be measured for a support belt. Why this wasn't done sooner is beyong me. Still least he's not being brushed aside.
I've got ear infection..........Tuesday the nurse said I hadn't.......yesterday gp took one look and yes, I had.
Oven fan packed up -thank goodness it was still under guarantee so thats now fixed. Just need the heating sorted properly now.

All the moaning put aside.............I've worked out what to do with two lts of scrabble tiles for my 2 sons...........one is a sort of selection of Beatles stuff (names, Liverpool etc.) the other all coastal words as other son lives on the south coast. Plenty of tiles left to work out mottos with so that'll keep me busy.

    Hope you're all ok:)
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !
