  • Minion came back from KH having been throwing up for most of her time there. :(

So Christmas Dinner went from a lovely feast at 2pm to a few bits of shredded chicken breast, one roast potato, three carrots and half a Yorkshire pudding.

However, despite feeling so fragile, she has been in a very amenable mood  and was delighted with her presents. Not one off key remark (which is unheard of) from her ALL day.

The cats have benefitted from the ropiest bits of chicken and I have decided that next year, I am going to halve the amount I get, as even though it's half what I got last year, it was still far too much.

DD1 is coming tomorrow and staying over, so someone is going to have to go up into the loft and get the spare quilt out. But, other than that, there is just nagging Minion to take her stuff upstairs to make it perfect in here again.

Oh, and Minion has discovered that she is called Minion.

Tomorrow, I will be sorting the kitchen, washing and then watching the girls slob around a bit. Along with, having got a basketball, getting involved in a little one on one in the street outside (which is generally completely empty of traffic and won't be opposite anyone's house.)
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.

Had a lovely day at DDs yesterday. Everything went well and Santa was good to us all.

Came back and crashed on the sofa. Going to DDs ex inlaws today for a buffet lunch.
  • Morning everyone. Hope you all had a great day yesterday. Our lunch out was lovely but nothing much was done afterwards except one cup of tea made.

Lovely to see so many old faces posting Xmas messages - miss u all.

Seafarers isn't he just gorgeous.:D and don't you worry about the bed as Dusty says you've just had a baby.

Thanks for the list Dusty - it will be a quiet day here. Need to head to Mr S's to see what I can find whoopsied - need Xmas cards for next year & perhaps some decent wrapping paper. Other than that it will probably just be a long walk for the dog.

    Morning lovelies!

Seafarers awwwwww he's adorable, what a little cutie xx

Gonna sort the kitchen out shortly and have another tidy in the LR, but nothing major today. DD1 and fiance (both working all day yesterday) are coming about 1pm to spend the day and weve got boxing day buffet at MIL's at tea time. Sales this morning, our Boots is open at 11 today, will have a mooch but not after anything inparticular, I just want next years wrapping paper and cards from somewhere. :money:

    Morning lovelies

Busy day here today as prepping for tomorrows family gathering. Must have been off my trolley when I suggested that one! Despite thinking I had only a small set of rellies the minimum I will have is around 20 the max could beup to 30  and I refuse to serve up the Eyesland trash my SIL does.

Guess I should get cracking and shower/dress.

Hope you all have a great day especially birthday girl piggers xx

Morning all, just having some fruit for breakfast as I feel too full of carbs from yesterday.

oh I've already got that itching feeling to sort, tidy, declutter! I'll concentrate on tidying today in a pottering way.

Can't be bothered with the shops, freezer is just about full anyhow. Tomorrow DH and I will go the town for a bit of sales shopping at JL and I too want Christmas cards for next year but I know I have enough wrapping.

JoJo how does minion feel about her name?

Have a good boxing day folks x
