Just popping in to say hi & good luck.
I am no expert with the claiming back charges thing (perhaps you could post a separate post about the Abbey question?) but I would have thought if they have asked you to give them 4 weeks, they won't be able to do anything any quicker than that.
There must be so many people trying to reclaim so, there will be a bit of a wait.
But as I say I am no expert.....Bank Balance: In the black for the moment.

Re Abbey - yes give them 4 weeks. I gave Smile 4 week - they said this was how long they were allowed to legally take (don't know if this is true but I went with it) - on the last day I sent them a gentle reminder by secure message - the next day they paid £640 into my account.
Hope you are doing OK and still leaving the cards at homePennies make pounds.

All right well here's an update - and I have to say,you will be impressed!!
Since Thursday last week until tomorrow (yes, including today as well), apart from the treatment (£85) I have spent….. £0!!!! Nothing AT ALL!!
I have to say Im pretty impressed myself.. I still cant believe it! I have not spent a penny. I was lucky, Friday free dinner Saturday free lunch then some freebie fruits for dinner, Sunday, I had still food at home and in the evening, my friend treated me to dinner. Also, no books, no clothes, no bags, no perfume, not even a tiny cute bracelet, nothing at all!! Today I will only spend on work lunch but that’s pre paid, so… zero again! In ther evening it’s the Passover dinner but I already paid for it.
And I have eaten lots!
I have also made up an excel spreadsheet budget planner, it is quite smart, I have to input my daily spend and then it will give me how much average I have for the rest of the budget planning, per day. So Lets say I have £20 per daz at start, if I spend under this, it will recalculate for the rest of the term and it will come out as more than 20 average per day for the rest. If I spend85 (treatment), then it will recalculate and it will come out as something £17.99 every day for the rest of the budgeting term. This was I wills ee how much I have spent etc, and if, apart from treatment days, I keep my spend under the average available, that will ensure I will stay within the budget. Genius, isnt it??
Another success that I have set up internet banking for M&S so now I can check my balance any time - fantastic.
Gotta go do some work, and then the lovely dinner - I cant wait.
Thanks for coming in and encouraging me!Total debt £3625.07.
