Have you actually checked his feedback - any negatives? Why would anyone want to buy lots of phones? I hope I am just being paranoid

I just refused a buy it now offer from someone as I was suspicious of their rating.

Nic: books? dvds? cds? samples? pens? handbags?

Ebay update: Listing currently 15, 9 wil sell, total amount only £14.79 but I expect this to go up to £30 plus postage (£40 total earning) by the time they sell.

Paypal update: they have completed sending the money to my bank account (£110!!) will arrive on Friday, latest on monday - yay! I have posted the phone to the guy who bought it. In the meantime his feedback went up to 201, latest being for a sony ericcon another type of mobile phone, the same as I sold to him, the seller thanking him for prompt payment. So I dont worry anymore. this is obviously a guy who buys phones on ebay and probably sells them with a profit to people.

Greenmetropolis update: Listed 45, sold 4 totalling to £17.00. Posted them all, waiting for money to clear and then will transfer to bank account. Only one buyer confirmed receipt yet.

Balances update: Amex £687.21 HSBC and M&S as in my signature. Savings: emergency £181.39. Current account: £1.47 (no need to keep money there, no DDs or anything...)

Food update: I have spent less on food this month than ever before and I am feeling great and not even starving myself. I discovered ways of getting free food and cheap food, also nice cheap meals (thanks to all your advice here). I will give youa full breakdown of how much I spent on the 9th when my payday-to-payday month finished.

    Interesting facts:

1.) HSBC gets really nice to you when you pay off a chunk of £520 of an outstanding debt of £2000. They come up with all their lovely ofers, probably sensing that Im about to pay off. :rotfl:

2.) Eight people are watching my free boots foundation sample and the price is already at £3 plus postage, whereas at the same time a £39 worth Dior face cream is currently only at £3.20 - someones gooing to have a bargain on that (was free for me so I dont mind). Also the £29 worth liberty soap, orignally sealed is struggling at £1.04 but the body shop body butter is at £2.40. Which is interesting because with postage it will be at least £4, and thats the retail price. The lovely big M&S magnolia hand cream (which is heavenly but I ahve another one) is not selling at all, even though the price is only 45p. Ebay can surprise you sometimes, cant it...

3.) I have tried to sell three of my dvds in February, they didnt sell, relisted them now, still dont sell. Wonder why - they are all chart dvds, only one of them old. I sold 45 items but only received feedback from 38 of them, and since some of them bought from me more than once, my total points is only 32.

4.) The item being watched by the most people is a £4 worth lip balm from body shop (not the £39 worth dior cream, for example...) And 11hours to go. I ahve earned £187.70 on ebay (this includes the paypal fees that have already been deducted, and also postage too so thats the net profit) within a month and I had to pay ebay fees of £17.70. Which is what I will do now.

Well thats it, hope you enjoyed my little update! feel free to comment on anything, and thanks for reading my diary :)

    Hi there.

Yep I had my pay day but my overdraft ate it all up :rotfl:

My EBAY star rating is 93 BUT there are about 20 people in my EBAY history who are too lazy to leave feedback so, it should have been much more, but there you go.

It's just one of those things....people disappoint you.

Funny how some things just don't sell even though you are thinking "WOW bargain for someone!"

But you never know, they may go at the last minute - I hope so for your sake anyway.

Keep going! (I know you will).

Glad the PayPal thing worked out - sorry I didn't realise the payment was PENDING when you were talking about it, I assumed it was an instant payment.

    Hiya!

Ohh no I must have been completely confusing: the payment WAS instant, and I instantly initiated a bank transfer, and THAT was pending!! :) but now its complete, meaning it will be on my account within 5 working days!

Oh I see so they dont always leave feedback. I will remove these old listings from my list because its confusing, i want to see the total sum of how much I make NOW!

    Ebaying is just soo brilliant!!!

Yeah I see what you mean about the overdraft - cant you open a new account and have your slaary paid into that and just pay off the overdraft by bank transfer step by step? or is that a bad idea?

Well whoever gets THAT dior cream for four pounds, will be the luckiest person... thats a dream of a cream, I got it as a present and it was actually a big thing of me to put it on ebay, I wanted to use it myself!!!

x x x x x x everything seems to be so fine now, i cant believe things go so well. Just wait until I post how much I spent in this month, compared to january, you wont believe it! (I ahve the figures at work)

NOOOO it's a good idea (and one Moozie suggested too a while back) but my overdraft is so big that I don't think anyone will have me!

Plus First Direct might demand all the money back at once if I move my salary payment elsewhere (I think they can choose to do that if they want to) and that would leave me well & truly stuffed, I'd have no chance to clear it in a hurry.

But in principle I think it is a great idea :)

Great about your ebay items. I'll have a nose in a minute. I haven't really got anything I could sell. I dont have a lot of stuff anyways, and use most of it. Bring on the holidays, that's what I say. Am in a rubbish mood, but that's another story. Keep your chin up.
