  • OK it's *only* £4 saving....but it's a sensible £4 SAVING!

(The emphasis is on sensible saving here...)
Bank Balance: In the black for the moment.
    Sainsburys Loan: Cleared July 2010
Credit cards: AMEX Airmiles Card: direct debit set to clear balance monthly

Don't be worried at this stage. Sometimes you have to wait a day or two...especially if people have gone out for the weekend.

  • Just a quick update and then I will write more in the evening:

This morning I was really down because I paid the orange bill and it was so big… now anyway, I will have to cut back on my phoning. I just really cant control my spending… when I go through a monthly forecast plan and try to keep everything in budget, I just realise that apart from eating I really just wont spend on anything or if I do I will be out of my budget and this is just so dissappointing.

So if I decide that I don’t need to rush paying my debt back in 4 months time but if I give myself about 6, 7 or 8 months, I will actually have a life as well… is this giving up? I hope not… I don’t know, I want to reduce my debt of course and pay it back but I am just not having any fun.. oh well I am just moody.

Two people have left me positve feedback on amazon which means my stamping method works in principle so there. I withdrew £77 from paypal (77 pounds!! That’s £70 because 7 goes to ebay fees), can you believe? Amazing, I just got £70 from nothing/. So put it this way. Orange bill was £90, I put aside £60 for it but I just got £70 which means it is still a £40 gain, so that means I got £40 from nothing. This is not bad. But god knows I worked hard for it, listing, packing, etc.. photographing.. still not bad at all and I will throw it at Amex.

So people actually said “great service” and stuff like this, this is so nice!!!! 

SF can you please confirm once you have received my dvds – slightly worried about work post, it WILL get there eventually but they might automatically send it second class. We’ll see. Posted them this morning. I am off to a meeting now (incl dinner, very important, budget: £10, thatsthe only treat and its WITHIN my food budget so I am just going to enjoy it, yummy lebanese food!)

I will write more in the evening, I will come in to print my invoices and pack 11 more dvds – fun! Kisses to everyone

  • i don't think its giving up - i think its realistic - you are not saying an extra year or two just an extra few months. I think you are being too hard on yourself and i am sure you will be more successful in doing it this way - you are doing really well

Thank you :) and also if I restrict too much I am more likely to impulse buy, which leads to even bigger trouble. So I will save at least £300 a month and throw it into debt, hopefully more, but wotn force myself to the likes of £500, £600 like I thought. And I wll eat. I went out tonight and I spent £9 including tip at a lovely lebanese place and got FULL!!!

Ohh another 2 people left positive feedback! they like me on ebay!!! they say I am a great seller! its sooooo nice !!!!

gotta print my despatch labels for another 12 items and I will write more.

  • Glad to hear you've re-assessed your debt free date, much more realistic and you'll still be debt free by CHristmas!

You must have been quick posting for them to have got there already!!! Well done, once you have feedback people will be more inclined to bid on your items.

Your meal sounds lovely, never had Lebanese.

Even though your Orange bill was high you managed to be able to pay it, hopefully the international minutes will cover it in future..do you need to ring so much? could you email more instead? or even instant message?

Glad to hear you're going to do some eating...was a bit worried!!

    take care

    kitty
