"""went into my local boots late this evening, just before closing time, to pick up a prescription to see a nice big pile of 75% sale shelving labels behind the till.
I asked the sales assistant if the pile of labels are to be put out tonight, she said yes, because the sale starts tomorrow.
My local store is very small and only had about 5 things on the shelf...... however i think this is a very strong indication that it is gonna be tomorrow!!!
Shame i don't have any money this year to go crazy like before....... but may have a sneaky peak in a big store tomorrow"""
Just pinched this quote from shop but dont drop0 -

Going on what boots staff have said about their 'no putting things away to buy later policy' I'd guess thats why a lot of swear blind theres 'no sale' etc, because they want to be able fill their boots first before the mad rush of bargain hunters/vultures decend0

My local you get staff members coming in on their day off, filling up baskets with whatever the till staff have requested and they put it behind the tills for the person on their day off to come back and buy later. I didn't think it was allowed but this starts just before the store opens!Comping wishlist for 2017

Hi I dont think the 75% sale will be till next week, I work there and nothing was mentioned today. Also I find it very strange that staff fill baskets up and put behind counter as they are not allowed to do this.0
