  • I'm not so sure it will be tomorrow (may have to eat my words!!) just spoken to 2 large stores in Norwich and one said not going ahead tomorrow whilst the other lady was very suprised and said they hadn't been told about a sale tomo.................... the plot thickens!!

It makes me giggle, they tell staff to lie through their teeth to put us off the scent, but if we are waiting for the 75/90% off it's not exactly going to make us buy at 50% by telling us not this week lol. It's not the best sale out there by far, but have to spend my hard earned boots points on something, I owuld be mortified if I had to spend 'real' money :D

  • Chapelfield and Castle Mall? I looked around today in chapelfield and no sign of much happening.

rang castle mall and riverside!! both denied. Rang Lowestoft earlier too also denied, friends mil works there and she's not been told either!

Hi I dont think the 75% sale will be till next week, I work there and nothing was mentioned today. Also I find it very strange that staff fill baskets up and put behind counter as they are not allowed to do this.

I think it's their way around buying stuff on their shift especially if SA's have no idea when the sale is on, but last year there was no manager on duty in the store just three members of staff and one who questioned me as to why I was there so early and how I knew about the 75% off, I found it a bit rude and odd but I guess they want cheap gift sets as much as anyone else does :/

Everytime I read the last post and go back to the Grabbit board there is another new post in this thread so I come back and the same happens again and again. Calm down everyone :)

Thanks! Last year I overslept and saw people coming out with the big bags... I ran over with pjs underneath my coat!! Hahahahaha!

:rotfl:You're as bad as me. Last year I came home from dropping the kids off, logged on here to read about all your bargains so dashed off to my nearest Boots before all the good stuff went. Came back to see I had left my front door WIDE OPEN!

Going to go, went to the Bournemouth one last year, but wondering if maybe Poole/Castepoint is better, any advice from locals I'm travelling from Dorchester so any local tips/knowledge required.

Of the two stores castle mall seems to have more left and better choice def more toys (chapelfield has almost none) mall had loads of big dove set & s&g in the upstairs bit when I last went in. By the way I'm sure I reckonise the Norwich ids from the sains toy sale last yr, good luck guys I cant do boots this yr unless it's online but dont have anything I HAVE to get

There's something going on as the items such as Ted Baker and Lynx sets saved in my wish list have been gradually going out of stock this evening - this afternoon they were in stock albeit at the full price.
