Boots 1/2 Price Sale

Just checked my diary and it was the 17th January last year. Usually if anything left after that the 90% off is 28 or 29th january. Got some great items at the end of January in the shop on Princes Street in Edinburgh but that was a few years ago.:j

Not sure about online but I did hear one SA asking another yesterday wether to remove SELS from the shelf if the item had gone out of stock.

She (manager) replied asking her to remove them but to keep them safe as they are likely to get more stock.

So I suppose they may come back in stock online too.


Picked up a few fragrance sets yesterday as well as a few gift sets, we got there at 1pm (opened at 8am) and there still seemed to be everything left!!
Looking forward to the 75% sale now, got some great bargains last year. Also got loads of wrapping paper, tags etc for silly prices in there 90% sale too!

We went yesterday and I was surprised at how quiet it was. There was only one man moaning but then he was standing in the middle of the busiest aisle and getting in everyone's way while he was waiting for his wife. I could have spent a fortune but wanted to spend my Advantage card points and my gift card. I got a lovely perfume set amongst other things and there were no queues for the till I just walked straight up to it. Would be tempted to go back and stock up on pressies for throughout the year if we weren't going out for dinner.

I have been to Boots in Speke retail park this morning and there was absolutely loads and loads of stuff available at half price - however I wasn't tempted to buy any cos I always wait for the 75% off sale. E.g. stacks of No7 hatboxes, but at £32.50 they are still dearer than I paid when they were OOTW at £30! No S&G to be seen but loads and loads of almost everything else.

They always have a sale starting about third week in January where everything goes to 75% off. I get loads in this every year, and stock up on birthday and Christmas pressies for the coming year! Then if there is anything left (generally not much) a week or two later they reduce to 90% off. I picked up a few bits in that sale, stuff like cards, tags, makeup bags etc but got most of my bargains in the 75% off sale.

that is how i remember it - maybe everyone got wise and that's why 50% off isn't a big deal anymore!

Just come back from Shrewsbury and there was a bit of Soap and Glory. The hand soap set was £5 and the set with the apron and breakfast scrub set was £8. There were loads of those left

This is the store I shopped at yesterday, there really was loads left

They usually have quite a lot when it comes round to the 75% off sale too so Im looking forward to that.

Yes it is always very good on 75% stock, I've been going there for years now and it's never been a disappointment, whereas the two stores in town can be a bit hit & miss.
