Please remember all, this is just a bit of fun, you may not agree with the answers I give or even the questions I ask and that is your prerogative. I have the prerogative not to care;).
Prizes:
First prize is a night out with Generali (you're paying)
2nd prize is 2 nights out with Generali (you're paying both times).
Wooden spoon is a night out as Bruno's umbrella stand:eek:
Rules.
1. Generali is the sole judge of the competition
2. The judge's decision is always final
3. In case of appeal etc, please refer to rules 1 and 2.Thrugelmir wrote: »Not advisable as very doubtful I have!
Correct! You got 3/9 I make it.
Question 3 I'll put on a new thread tomorrow.0 -
You could always give us the answers the next day then you should only get replies for that days question.
The way it is now, you will have people answering 5 days questions in one post while others have forgot what they answered on day one
I will give answers to questions a couple at a time rather than saving them to the end.
I should have thought this through....:(0 -
I thought it might be fun to set a Christmas quiz. Answers in the New Year. It might end early if I get bored but never mind. Try not to use Google but if you do then I am reliably informed Santa will not be visiting you next year.

But it's Xmas morning and I'm already up and waiting for the rest of the house to surface after quite a long night wrapping and imbibing and persuading the grandson that sleep might actually be a good idea.....0 -
Its interesting that people don't know what is Vatted - may be the American system of quoting pretax prices and adding the tax at the check out would help people understand where their money was going :eek:I think....0

Feel free to sue me for the monetary value of taking me out for the night)
Having said that, with the Aussie Dollar being one of the few currencies left in the world that anyone wants to hold even a small settlement might be advantageous to you!0 -
No googling, how many pairs of shoes/boots, on average, does a UK woman own?
I currently own about 50. It used to be at least 3 times that, so I've cut down substantially. I'm guessing about 35 as an average as I know more people with fewer than me but some with far more. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

I really wish we could have that system over here.....then people casn actually see how much of the price is tax (though not all 20% goes to govt as some is offset)I'm going to go for b. 100,000-200,000.vivatifosi wrote: »I currently own about 50. Gosh  50 ......I could have matched that if I hadn't had a cull (due to space issues) a couple of years back but I have exactly the average amount which is......
..........................17 according to this article
I believe the figure is quite high as feet don't really change whereas bodies do more so.....weight gain etc.
I guess average UK man has about 7 which could be 1 pair for each type of activity (work, sport, gardening, best etc)0
