Happy Christmas to you too. Hope you're not too exhausted after the Xmas rush!

    I guess 10.
Moi exhausted? Never :) Sadly the new season rush is worse and it starts on the 27th Dec.

BTW 10 is the wrong answer. :)

How did I score?..... desp to find out .......did I beat Thrugelmir?

The rules on food were to do with how much processing involved from raw product (eg potato zero rate) to finished product (crisps have VAT I am sure but could have called it wornog on the frozen chips).

The kidswear rules are very complicated and involve a lot of measurements to determine that they are actually for kids. I do recall some arguments some years back as teen school uniform and casual clothes had to be the same size as adult clothes (as teens are bigger now) and they fell foul of the VAT rules.
I looked at the chart and our skimpy stuff could have qualied for zero rate based on measurements (but they would have challenged the styling). It's still quite a grey area.

No problemo. I have 12 questions, one a day-ish but if other people want to chip in then feel free. The more the merrier as far as I'm concerned.

I was feeling a bit left out anyway as I know all the answers to my questions:D

How about I edit the OP each day to add another question? That might keep it simpler.

You could always give us the answers the next day then you should only get replies for that days question.

The way it is now, you will have people answering 5 days questions in one post while others have forgot what they answered on day one

    I'm going to go for b. 100,000-200,000.

Why not a fresh thread for each day of Xmas and question?

You are a day behind so this one is the 1st day of Xmas for you and us in 20 mins time.

If some of the regulars are having a few days off you could work it so every thread is a Gen Quiz thread...and if we work the postings right, they could run concurrently. 1st day of, 2nd Day of and so on down the board.

I think I have drunk too much champagne tonight :o

I was very disciplined and didn't look at anyone elses answers as I scrolled past them very quickly (but was slightly tempted to C+P Thrugelmirs as I guess he got 100% ;))

Not advisable as very doubtful I have!
